Some Notes - Second Viewing

Lor San Tekka, played by Max Von Shadow, is an "old ally" of the Republic, and has discovered new information regarding the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker, the last Jedi. Tekka refers to Leia as royalty, alluding to the possibility that he was from Alderaan. Lor San Tekka and Kylo Ren are familiar with each other, and Lor San Tekka seemingly knows who Kylo Ren is.

Han Solo was a Rebellion general. Princess Leia is a Resistance general.

We notice the Star Destroyer cross in front of a blue planet, which appears to have a red moon. This is shortly before TIE Fighters descend on Jakku, and I'm not entirely certain if this blue planet is Jakku.

Kylo Ren's transport vessel is similar to Darth Vader's T-4A shuttle.

Rey lives inside the wreckage of an AT-AT, dreaming of the Resistance.

We hear about the Sinking Fields and Goazon (sp?) Badlands on Jakku, which may be one in the same.

Rey proves herself in battle with her staff in the beginning of the film, even before wielding a lightsaber. Being an orphan girl on a desert planet, having to take care of herself, and living as a scavenger have obviously hardened her.

While the Resistance discovers the mission part of the navigation chart within R2-D2, the First Order has already retrieved this information from Empire archives. How that information is retrieved and why it is incomplete is unknown.

When Rey touches Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber, she has a vision of four places: Inside a corridor, Luke placing his hand on R2-D2, Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren at the Jedi massacre, and her parents leaving her behind on Jakku. The ship is a twin engine ship, with a round bottom and a semi-flat top. Before the vision ends, you hear a voice call out, "Rey."

Rey understands Chewbacca, and translates for Finn at one point in the film.

Starkiller Base appears to destroy one planet (Hosnian Prime), and the four surrounding moons.

Interestingly, after the light conversation between Han Solo and Kylo Ren, we see Rey wearing what appears to be Finn's jacket. Shortly afterward, during the confrontation with Kylo Ren, Finn is wearing his jacket again.

When Kylo Ren kills his father, we see him slowly twisting the the lightsaber to point towards his father, while Han attempts to hold it in place.

I think that is about it for now. I know some of the above answers questions people had, but I have no idea anymore what threads they were asked in. Haha. Ah, yes. Ships..

I just recalled.. In the scene where Rey and Finn are on Jakku running towards a Quad Jumper, the ship is destroyed, and they turn to get on the Millennium Falcon instead. In the background, as they board the Millennium Falcon, you can see another Quad Jumper.
