Star Wars Actors, Creators, and Friends Remember the Life of Ray Stevenson

Following the death of Ray Stevenson yesterday, many individuals within the Star Wars community have shared memories and stories of the beloved actor. Stevenson was a prominent actor in Star Wars having voiced the character Gar Saxon and portrayed Baylan Skoll in the upcoming Ahsoka series.

On social media and on the official Star Wars website, an official statement was posted regarding Ray Stevenson's death, including some comments from Ahsoka creator Dave Filoni. The statement is provided below:

Alongside the official statement, many of Stevenson's fellow co-stars and crew members on the Ahsoka series have also taken to social media to share their thoughts and condolences. Rosario Dawson, who plays the titular character in Ahsoka, shared words on Twitter about Stevenson, calling him a 'Ray of light.'

And on Instagram, Dawson shared another personal photo of Stevenson and herself, calling Stevenson, 'a giant of a man.'



On the Twitter account Kiner Music, the composers working on the Ahsoka TV series applauded Stevenson's performance in the show, calling it, 'haunting' and 'has a gravity that stunned us all.'

Diana Lee Inosanto, the actress behind Morgan Elsbeth from The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, paid her respects on Twitter, saying, 'Ray you were always an amazing force!'

Ivanna Sakhno who plays Shin Hati, Baylan Skoll's apprentice in Ahsoka, posted photos on Instagram of her, Stevenson, and Inosanto while working together.



And finally, Natasha Liu Bordizzo responded to Dawson's post on Instagram regarding Stevenson, sharing even more sentiments about their time working on set.





Ray Stevenson finished filming Ahsoka before he died and will appear in the TV series set to premiere this year on Disney Plus.
