Star Wars Battlefront II Alpha Leak Reveals Many Heroes & Villains.

    Data miners have been looking through the Battlefront II alpha for new information, and so far they've been able to come up with a list of 15 of the game's many playable heroes.





    The list, as it appears on Reddit, has 15 characters in total: Boba Fett, Han Solo, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, Bossk, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, General Grevious, Kylo Ren, Darth Maul, Captain Phasma, Rey, Yoda, and Lando Calrissian.



    A couple of details worth noting about this list are as follows:
    • This is not the full list of characters and should not begin to cover post-launch DLC aside from a pair of exceptions listed below.
    • Although it has yet to be confirmed, it appears as though many heroes can be used across multiple eras depending on who they are.
    • Finn is not a part of this list even though he's been confirmed to be post-launch DLC.
    • Phasma is included on this list even though it's long since been confirmed that she'll be a part of the same free DLC wave that Finn is a part of.
    • Phasma's presence suggests that she and Finn are going to be on-disc DLC (which shouldn't matter all that much since DLC is free for this game anyway).
    • Apparently there are bits and pieces in the game's files hinting that Jango Fett will be a playable character in some way, shape, or form, but there's no confirmation on this.
    • There's no word about Iden Versio or Gideon Hask being playable outside of the campaign mode.
    • It's already been suggested that Rogue One-related content will be post-launch, so don't expect to see Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic back so soon.

    Interesting info on the saber wielding character's weapons... I didn't know Luke's saber had only a single kyber crystal (I wonder what the significance of that is - do others have multiple?) and Vader's is classed as dual-phase!? (what does that even mean!)

    Surprised that they are actually putting Grievous in this game, rumors of Ahsoka, not surprised that Finn is no where to be found in the Alpha. Disappointed that they showcased Boba not Jango in the Alpha. I'm not surprised that there is no mention of Qui-Gon Jinn. Gungan micro-transaction skin would be wonderful! Will Watto be a denizen in the background? Will Ewoks be playable this time around? I had tons of fun sniping Ewoks in the original game. they just don't make video games like they used to... Actually, Attack of the Radioative Thing is an exception.
