    Guys, have you ever tried to get an autograph from those guests who attended only on panels? For example Harrison Ford, George Lucas and John Williams in 2017 SWCO, Pascal and Hayden last year. Is there any backdoor or artist's entrance, where autograph hunters are waiting?
    I think this year Ford, Hamill and Pedro Pascal (maybe Williams) will appear only on stages, without any announcements before. And I really want to try to get an autograph from them.
    Do you have any recommendations?

    Haven't a clue, but I would be very much surprised if there were any opportunity to catch them off guard for a free autograph somewhere. I assume the stars are alle ferried to-and-fro behind the scenes, and you won't see them until they want you to. Also, remember that the stars are there to work and earn money, so they are VERY unlikely to give away free autographs at en event where they are scheduled to sell them; it would be a pretty big f***-you to the fans who pay premium money for the autographs if they just gave them away by the back door.

    I just won seats for the Ahsoka & Villains of the Sequel Trilogy panels, and am pretty pleased about that! Wanted to sit in on the Showcase, too, of course, but one can't win'em all :rolleyes:

    Based on the 2016 event, it's unlikely at best... the artists were routed through completely separate and controlled entry/exit to underground parking with no public access.

    I'm really disappointed that they are not releasing the trailers for 'Acolyte', 'Andor' and 'Skeleton Crew'.

    IMO that's a bad choice by Disney.

    I'm pumped about the movie announcements though.

    I HATE con exclusive trailers.

    Like, I get if they want to show it to people a little early, maybe a day or two so they feel special. But man, it's so annoying when a trailer hits a con months, even half a year or so, before the public sees it.

    Low quality of course but we can already see is very dark.
    Am not sure about some modern costumes some of the kids seems are wearing but this is just a silly thought without context.

    And there is something it was a rumor and we can already see it. As i don't know how to do spoiler marks, although is not a spoiler per se, I will not say it, just in case XD

    Exactly why con-exclusive trailers are bad for brands, too.

    Now, the first thing the vast majority of people are gonna see of this is some washed out mess filmed on a potato. What a silly way of promoting one's product.

    Kind of makes sense from a marketing perspective. With multiple projects coming they want to focus on the next six months. Marketing is for casual people who may or may not tune in. We're not the target for marketing since we keep up with everything.

    It was a good first day, shame they didn't see highlights of the lucasfilm showcase but the Ahsoka trailer made up for it. roll on August 2023.

    Oh, I didn't see all that. I only caught Andor (at the second Andor2 panel) and Ahsoka (randomly at the LIVE Stage between interviews, weirdly). I've only seen Acolyte & Skeleton Crew online after-the-fact.

    As for wanting to be here... I'm actually having a pretty bad time here and it's much better to watch the stuff on yt, IMHO :p That said, everyone else seems to be having a grand old time, so I shall shut my face and not complain.
