Is anyone else missing having a Star Wars film to look forward to over the festive period. I've really enjoyed the films being released in December and after the past three years I now feel like I'm missing out this year.

I wish Disney had just held back Solo until December!

I have this badly, I have got used to relating Star Wars to Christmas and it feels weird not having a new movie to look forward to this month.

I will have to watch the Saga to fill the void.

They honestly think Solo would of taken the thunder away from Mary Poppins? But not worry about the thunder that IW, DP2, and The Incredibles 2 took away from Solo?

Interesting that you bring this up. My sons (10 and 7) just assumed we'd be going to see a new Star Wars movie in December. They were pretty bummed when I told them there wasn't one this time around. They loved making that a tradition. We saw Solo but since it wasn't close to Christmas I don't think it registered with them.

Yes it became something my family would get very excited about and we all got together to see a Star Wars movie a couple of times during holiday. And no I dont think a Star Wars movie (Solo) and Mary Poppins would have clashed much at all.
