If you're keeping up with Star Wars' Dark Droids comic crossover event, you might want to put off reading some of the comics coming out in December until Dark Droids #5 arrives to close out the event.

Via a post from Guerillascribe on Reddit, author Charles Soule has warned in his November newsletter that Star Wars #41 will spoil everything that happens in Dark Droids #5, despite the fact that it comes out three weeks earlier than the final crossover issue. Anyone keeping up with Dark Droids who wants to remain spoiler free should hold off on reading the comic when it releases on December 6, instead waiting until Dark Droids #5 releases on December 27.

Soule doesn't mention the Darth Vader, Doctor Aphra and Bounty Hunters comics, all of which are part of the Dark Droids crossover and also come out before Dark Droids #5 - Bounty Hunters is out on December 13 while Darth Vader and Doctor Aphra both release on December 20 - but it might be safer to avoid reading these as well until Dark Droids #5 is released.

It's a pretty remarkable publishing error, though Soule does mention that Star Wars #41 has a disclaimer at the front of the issue, warning about the spoilers. You have to wonder how something like this could slip through, especially considering that Dark Droids #3 already spoiled major story details in the upcoming Star Wars, Doctor Aphra and Bounty Hunters issues when that was released in October.

This is what Soule had to say in his newsletter:

It's a shame that the ending of the last major crossover of this current run of Star Wars comics has potentially been ruined by a publishing error, but hopefully most fans can get the warning and prevent themselves from being spoiled.
