    Never did I think in 1977 that Star Wars would still be with me 37 + years later. There has been at least 1 movie in all the decades of my life.

    1977,1980,1983,1999,2002,2005 and 2015......coolness.

    Somewhat related, but is that rumor of a new Star Wars movie either every year or every other year still valid? The most extensive rumor I saw encompassed the ST plus like two or three other trilogies, with spin-offs between each, for a total or 20 or 30 years non-stop movies.

    It seemed way too crazy to speak honestly.

    I'm hoping that it's just the new trilogy and spin offs honestly.As much as i love star Wars,anymore then that is going to kill the franchise and dilute the importance of the original trilogy. There can be to much of a good thing.

    I agree. It's going to be very difficult to maintain consistent quality if they're cranking these things out each and every year for decades. Personally, I don't even think the "Rebels" series feels all that much like Star Wars, to tell you the truth. IMHO, they should do the new trilogy, a few spin-off movies, wrap up the whole Skywalker saga, and then they should probably focus on a completely different era in GFFA history. Lots of folks have suggested a Knights of the Old Republic movie, and I feel like that's probably the best way to keep the SW movies fresh in the long term.

    one beautiful afternoon in 1977 when my Dad said hey, what do you say we go see that new space movie tonight.
