Star Wars: Forces Of Destiny Teaser Previews Shorts With Rey, Ahsoka, & Padmé

    A new ad for Star Wars: Forces of Destiny is advertising the show's return to Disney Channel for a 30-minute broadcast that features at least two new shorts.







    The 30-minute special, featuring new segments set during the events of The Clone Wars and The Force Awakens, will air on October 1 at 8 PM. The preview, which shows excerpts of this new footage alongside clips from earlier episodes, can be seen below:

    There are eight segments that serve as the second wave of Forces of Destiny shorts, which will presumably all air just before Star Wars Rebels returns. Until then, fans can catch all episodes of the first wave on the official Star Wars YouTube channel.

    The first two new "episodes" are now available.

    In the first one (called The Newest Recruit), Sabine and Ketsu attempt to steal some cargo. During the heist, they are spotted by some stormtroopers. During the shoot out, Sabine and Ketsu save a Chadra-Fan child. After the adventure, Ketsu decides to become a full-time member of the Rebellion and thus become the newest recruit.



    In the second one (called Tracker Trouble), on their way to Takodano, Rey and Han notice that the Millennium Falcon is being tracked. Chewie, Finn and Rey find the tracker device, which is rigged to explode when discovered. Chewie quickly throws the bomb out of the airlock, and the Millennium Falcon continues on its journey.
