Tough one ill admit, just something about her (Bastila Shan) that made me keep playing the game, even when I found it hard or got bored of what was happening at that very second. She acted as great filler (i mean that in the nicest of ways) between planets. Kept me interested.

For me, it has to be Jolee Bindo. Such as wise and funny character who tells great stories and has great backstory. He's a wisecracking grumpy old grey Jedi who has seen the failings of the Jedi Order and no longer wanted to be a part of it.

Bastila Shan. She knew the that you were Revan, although she wasn't available until you rescued her and could not play her on Korriban, I enjoyed her in my party. I also liked Mission and Zaalbar as well. This game was great, and liked the book Revan as well.

I personally love Jolee Bindo. He is what I always thought the Jedi should be. A hermit that tried to make the world he lived on a better place. He also had a cool perspective on the Jedi order in general.

I thought Mission and her Wookie friend were a pretty well rendered and engaging characters.
I remember eagerly anticipating this title for the original Xbox and when it finally arrived I was
really put off by really sloppy animations, even the graphics for the superior gaming machine
were "meh." The story and the RPG elements were well worth the price though! :3

Along with Jedi Knight 2 and Jedi Academy this is my favourite Star Wars game.

Like the other fellas said, my favourite companion was Jolee Bindo, loved that crazy old coot and had some great lines:

Jolee Bindo: [see Limp Bizkit's Nookie] I did it all for the Wookiees.
    Revan: The Wookiees?
    Jolee Bindo: The Wookiees!

Gotta go with HK-47. He's a very mysterious part of the story the first time you play though, and being such an evil character is a great contrast to the protocol droid we are all so used to (C-3PO). I also liked just having him in the party to play with, and when he gives his two cents when talking to NPCs it's usually pretty hilarious. Jolee would be a close second though. I have to say, as much as I loved almost everything about Kotor 1 better than Kotor 2, I liked the Kotor 2 party members better. Maybe it's the fact that you could sway them to the dark or the light side that I liked so much. Plus, Kreia was such an enigmatic character.

I went with Mandalore(Canderous) as getting a Mandalorian in your party was awesome. I like hearing about the Mandalorian wars, I always wondered about them. Also I like how he was evil apparently but he just had a warriors pride . Bastila was a close 2nd

Just started playing this game about a month ago. I played and finished the 2nd one back when it came out and I remember liking the gameplay but being confused about the story

I thought part two had a more interesting plot and went deeper into the main character.

The antagonist had a pretty cool mask that rivaled Vaders, too.

Agreed!!! Also, I thought the Sith in the "Legacy Of The Force" comicbook were outstanding, not only from visual standpoint but very well developed overall.

I'm still waiting for KOTOR 3. I heard, I think it was on this site, that KOTOR 3 was a secret game "LucasArts" is working on.

That's very likely due to overall huge buzz around all SW related media, now is the prime time for a sequel. I think the battle system needs a major overhaul, namely the party member AI, and the saber duel animations. Also, why not play around with other time periods from the OR era and jump a few centuries forward??? We can see a new take on technology and armor as well as planets, and new alien species.

It goes w/out saying, with new powerful PCs and gaming consoles a player controlled space travel/combat is an absolute MUSTA!!

I chose Jolee Bindo. I liked that he was a Jedi once but now would be neither a Jedi or a Sith. He has the training to use a saber/force abilities but does not ascribe to either "faith".

He plays off the idea of Yoda in a very interesting way. He's on a planet, basically in hiding, but the Jedi are not wiped out or destroyed or anything, he just chooses to leave.

It would be really interesting to see this type of character in other media going forward, and could pose some interesting questions:

    -Does this happen often?
-What do the Jedi do when it happens?
-How do the Jedi feel about this?

If it started to happen a lot, it could put Jedi in an awkward position.
