Star Wars Marathon! (May 1st - May 5th 2015)

    Hey all!

    In honor of Episode VII's upcoming release, i'm planning on doing a Star Wars marathon on the weekend leading up to Star Wars day, it would be great if a few others got involved too. It would make the experience even more special!

    Here's the rules for my sitting (you don't have to follow them)

    • You must complete the marathon in under 17 hours! Starting between May 1st - 5th and ending before May 6th.
    • The films have to be watched in their entirety, no skipping! Pausing is allowed.
    • The films have to be watched in chronological order in terms of the story, starting with The Phantom Menace and ending with Return Of The Jedi.
    • You have to watch the films in the most cinematic setting possible! Dim the lights, watch them on the best screen you have and keep mobile phones off! (unless you have family commitments)

    Jedi Master Marathon(duel)

    (Only the toughest Jedi Masters can handle this)
    • Marathon has to start on Star Wars day!
    • The films cannot be paused at any point.
    • You must complete the marathon in under 15 hours!
    • Bonus Yoda points if you start your marathon at 11:38am/pm (yoda)
    • Alternatively, bonus Darth Sidious points if you start and finish the Marathon on May the 4th (emperor)

    Remember, this is the very last Star Wars day we'll have before the sequel trilogy kicks off!

    If anyone has more suggestions, or if i've made any errors or whatnot then let me know!

    sounds great. but im gonna have to bend the rules and watch PT and OT on separate days lol. i just did this less then a month ago, and it was a long day. by the time i got to the end i was a bit exhausted. :D

    To watch the PT without skipping it, I need more than the force, I need harder stuff.
    I have to agree, only a hard-boiled Jedi Master succeeds this impossible task, but nonetheless I will give it a try ;)

    I don't hate Jar Jar, the PT is so bland, it just don't attract me to watch it again, but I will try it with all of my might.
    Like I said in a older post, I need harder stuff, the force is not enough.
    Maybe beer will come in handy to pull this difficult task off ;)

    Ahh damn. Just watched Phantom Menace a few days ago, is ok to leave that one out and instead watch the plinkett review of TPM?
    I cant take it two times in a year.

    Haha sure, same goes for anyone who's seen them in the last few weeks, funnily enough I find Revenge Of The Sith the hardest to watch of the prequels..
    That first act is probably my least favorite part of the entire saga.
