First, I'm really surprised there isn't a specific forum here on The Cantina to discuss the music of Star Wars, of which there is much, and not even all from John Williams.

Fans have been doing a great deal to make the music of the mythos accessible in different ways. I'd like to point out, in particular, 'Closed on Sunday', who has put channels on YouTube that provide amazing lo-fi hip-hop interpretations of many mainstay Star Wars themes. I listen to this stuff all the time to chill or just to hear these reinterpretations, which I think are outstanding. [Go to YouTube and look up 'Star Wars lo-fi hip-hop' or 'Closed on Sunday']

Second, I just realized that I've never heard of anyone cosplaying the Bith Band or even creating a full album of their music based on the several examples we have from the original 1977 soundtrack. Why hasn't someone done this by now? There are all kinds of bands doing tribute music to various mythos; there's even a Klingon death metal band called Stovokor. They've been around a long time.

I say it's long past time for a live-action recreation of the Bith Band, replete with additional original music to go with 'Cantina Band' etcetera. The idea is out there now, if it weren't before, so someone needs to get on it. :)
