GAME Star Wars NFL Pick 'Em III

Have we decided how this is going to go? I know I mentioned a 30 point Superbowl but how about something like...

20 points for Superbowl winner
bonus points (1 or 2?) for some prop bets...such as: Coin toss, national anthem over/under, etc.

There's some really crazy stuff you can bet on, and I think it would be really fun to do a handful of these. Everyone pick your favorite? Here's some others:

Hahaha, honestly it may come down to a coin toss for me as well. I have a favorite in mind, but I keep flip-flopping.

 

This sounds good. You come up with the side bets, and we'll go with 25 points for the winner. Make it so!

There are various sites to choose these bets from, and some (that are more odds based) don't really work for how we're doing it. I have found this one that looks like it will work for us:

Any objections to filling out the whole thing? One of the items is pick a winner, and we are already doing that. So, 24 questions, half point each for a total of 12 possible bonus points? Speak now or forever hold your peace!

Fill out in two ways. Save the pdf, and re-upload the image with your choices. Or, use the columns as A or B, and respond with 1-A 2-B 3-A, etc etc. #10 would be A, B, C, or D.

If this doesn't work for everyone, or its too much, it will at least be fun for those that do!

@Trevor I don't mind helping you score this as its a bit more involved.

So who kept track of the sheet tally? I tried to, but only got about half (or a bit more) of the picks..... @DarthSnow?

 

I have it complete, with the exception of the Gatorade shower.. (Was there even one??)... I will hunt down that info today. I did leave it at home though, so I will tally up the scores later this evening once I get home from work.

EDIT: I just confirmed that there was no Gatorade shower, making that bet a "push"... we'll throw that one out, no points awarded either way.

 

What a game even if I was hoping for a FALCON wine. Hopefully I will be able to take part in the 17/18 season

 

@DarthSnow if you'd just tally total and announce then winner, we can have @wuhur pay out. Sorry, I'm on the road all week on business and just remembered this.

Here we go! This point scoring is based off of:

I haven't seen anything different, so going by that scoring system the final results for the 2016-17 NFL Pick 'Em III are.... <drum roll please> ....

1. @Cole - 85 + 25 + 0 bonus = 110 points
   
2. @Alamact - 73 + 25 + 5 bonus = 103 points
   
3. @DarthSnow - 94 + 7 bonus = 101 points
4. @JeffG. - 81 + 4 bonus = 85 points
5. @Trevor -66 + 5.5 bonus = 71.5 points

Congrats to @Cole for being this year's Pick Em champion!! Who needs bonus points?! Not you, sir. Well done!

@JeffG. was the only one to correctly pick the under on the National Anthem. (Length: 2:04)
No one correctly picked the first score of the game. (Touchdown)
@DarthSnow was the only one to correctly pick an even jersey number as the first score. (#24 D. Freeman)
3 out of 4 (Sorry @JeffG. ) correctly picked the highest scoring quarter. (2nd)
3 out of 4 (Sorry @DarthSnow ) correctly picked a 2-point conversion attempt.
Everyone picked the player with the most receiving yards correctly (Not Julio Jones)
Everyone missed Julio Jones having a reception over 27.5 yards (His long was 27. So close!)
Everyone missed Lady Gaga's first song. (We all picked actual songs, "Other" won with "America the Beautiful"... curveball!)
3 out of 4 (Sorry @Alamact ) correctly picked the position of the MVP. (Quarterback Tom Brady)
3 out of 4 (Sorry @Trevor ) correctly picked the over/under for total points scored. (64 total)

I will post my master sheet here if anyone wants to double check my math, but I don't think anything was really close enough to warrant a recount.
