Star Wars: The Old Republic (MMORPG)

I'm really enjoying the game now that I finally have a computer that can run it. Despite being able to play only infrequently and never having played MMOs before, I have a good time. Playing it more for the story, but the multiplayer aspect is a lot more fun that I initially thought it would be (single player KotOR, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, etc are more my style). The free-to-play restrictions generally don't interfere with the fun I'm having, so that's a plus.

 

I'm glad you like it. I like the game too, but wish it could be better. The game has so much potential and could possibly become one of the greatest MMO's. I heard they will improve the around 2017

 

I finally started playing TOR over the past few days. I think it is a great game. My first character is a Zabrak Jedi Consular by the name of Col-Lin (My real name is Collin).

 

I loved the game but my gaming PC broke so I can't play anymore. I wish it could had been more open world like SW Galaxies.

 

I wish the game was better too which is why I'm not playing it right now. If they drastically improve it in the future I will return to the game.

I like the game too, only concern so far is that the game is too much of a money sucker. (pay to win)
I'am still hoping for KOTOR III release and I'am really curious about Battlefront III on PS4.

 

Same I'm guessing that they will do a reboot of kotor like they did with battlefront if they do.

 

I would buy the games, no doubt, if they ever plan to do a next gen remake of KOTOR I and II or a reboot of the franchise with a possible part III.
Battlefront III will end up in my collection, no doubt.
I own the PS4 since early december and I'am still waiting for good games to drop this year.

BioWare announced the new expansion, looks really good, such a rich time period, so looking forward!...

 

Game expansion is nice and all, but they need to upgrade the game extensively like graphics, They made such good trailers graphically, but the game is pale in comparison to the trailers

 

I like the idea of this game, but in practice I find MMOs to be tedious. Any chance of this ever being retooled as a console release, ala KOTOR III?

 

Word is that a console is not possible with the way that the game was made. Never say never though. You are in luck with wanting it more like a single player game. It turns out that lots of people want that and that is BioWare's next expansion is going to do. They are returning to a single player experience heavy on story... which says a lot considering SWTOR is pretty good on story.
