    Hi everyone,

I have a spécial attachement for VHS tapes, specially the SW ones of course (the only that I collect). Its like an obssession, probably because I use to spend hours in video stores when I was a kid. Last week I bought the 1995 US version in an excellent shape, and the french Special Edition Widescreen. There are more box coming for the next week.
The 1995 Trilogie, The SW gold and The Phantom Menace are the brazilian versions that I bought at the time of release back in those days.
Now I am looking for the trilogies released in 1989 and 1991.
Post pictures of yours if you still have them!

The original trilogy I had growing up was a mish mash. A New Hope was recorded from the network premier in '84, the commercials were great (including one for C-3POs cereal) and there was a little documentary hosted by Mark Hamill that bookended it. Empire was recorded for me by a neighbor off Showtime I think. And the only retail copy I owned was Jedi. Later on I upgraded to a really cool box set that also came with From Star Wars To Jedi which I still have but it's packed away somewhere but it was this one. I had to beg my parents for it and they'd only get it for me if I made straight A's so I had to wait a while and work my tail off to get my grades up because I was normally a kind of lazy B/C student. Come to think of it my parents probably made that deal thinking I wouldn't be able to.

Not my pictures because I'm too lazy to look for it at the moment and it's not in as good of a condition as those.

Later on I bought the Special Editions on VHS when they first came out and I'm not even sure if I still have those packed away anywhere or not.

This set looks amazing! It was released in the 80’s? Is it hard to find in the US?
I received more copies from France, Italia and Spain. Will try to post more pics this week.

I'm not sure when it was released but I got it around 92/93 I think and it was pretty new to the market. I would imagine they're not easy to find, it wasn't easy for me to find even at the time I only knew of one store that had it and I'm the only person I've ever personally known to have it. Plus it was during that time when Star Wars fandom wasn't that massive.
