    Why the hell does the release date of a trailer have to be so secretive and confidential? It's not like he's dishing major spoilers from the film. That's what Jiang Weng is for.

    My best guess: They wanted to milk the announcement on GMA next week. So they would've had days of teasing some kind of announcement, maybe even some force for change clips and then confirmed Oct 9th.

    But it's typical media overreaction. Everything is ruined because the audience knows something early. Even though nothing has been ruined and they can still milk the announcement to death.

    What's the most likely time frame during MNF on October 9th? I know nothing about football, plus I want to plan ahead, because I live in Korea (16 hour time difference), and don't have American TV, so I want to be parked at my computer if I can once the trailer drops...

    IT is the same procedure with every trailer, they drop it with an event and release it simultaniously on the official YT channel.
    They want maximum and repeated views.

    It might be too early for them. They announced Rogue One trailer and revealed the poster on TSWS, but that was the day before. They can do one of the "Breaking News" episodes on 8th and give use the poster + announce the trailer is "coming tomorrow." That would be fine for me.

    I think that IF they announce anything on TSWS it will be along the lines of "Be sure and tune-in to Good Morning America on (whatever morning) for a special announcement!".
