SPOILER TFA returns to Endor

If true, this detail has been missed by most, if not all the so called leaked rumors. Right?

 

Just because its a snow planet doesn't mean its Hoth. When we thought the sand planet was Tattoonie it ended up being a new planet Jakku. So I really hope the snow planet is totally new.

 

That was not a very good article. This all stems from the name "Wicket" being listed by Warwick Davis' name in the press book during their Japanese media kickoff. Although that is curious, it's a far stretch to describing an "angry" Wicket at a rebel base after his village was destroyed in pre-TFA events.

 

While it would be a nice little scene to see how "they" acquired Vader's helmet/mask, it's not necessarily a scene that needs to be shown. Or maybe in a later episode the films could delve deeper into the Sith artifacts, if that is still the going rumor, Sith artifact collector. Or is Kylo just in possession of this one artifact?

 

Maybe hes angry because Han and Leia left him there

Yea but Leia liked Wicket so she might have taken him after the Battle of Endor and made him part of the Republic as an ambassador or because most of his friends died (during Battle of Endor or after by being massacred if/when someone came to pick up Vader's mask). He's house-trained as well

 

Confirmed, Snoke is the new ewok emperor.
The ewoks are the fiercest and most ancient species in the galaxy, it is revealed they are the common ancestor of both the rakata and the sith species. They are also the first to master the force and hyperspace travel.
The ewok empire fell more than ten thousand years ago but after the battle of endor (where they show total dominace in the art of war against an enemy with completely superior technological and numeric advantage ) they regain their technological knowledge by reverse engineering all weapons and vehicles left on Endor.
They also completely re awaken to their mastery of the force after eating the remains of the chosen one.
It is revealed Palpatine was a misunderstood martyr who was actually trying to protect the galaxy from the unavoidable ewok cannibalistic crusade he had foreseen, that is why the death star was built on Endor.
The third act has not yet been revealed, one rumor says Luke teams up with Plagueis to defeat the unstoppable ewok onslaught, another says Rey finds Luke only at the end of the movie on a cave on endor, but only his bones since he was already eaten by the ewoks.

PS: It is revealed Vader's helmet is just the bass drum on the ewok royal military band.

 

Has anyone talked about the possibility that it's Luke who has Vader's helmet? That maybe he kept it as a reminder of who his father was and the path that he followed? That would certainly take away the need to show how the helmet made it off Endor.

 

I always thought that it was more probable for Luke or even Leia to have the helmet than Kylo, but my bet is on Plagueis.

 

Really, all three would have their reasons and any of them would have merit. I like the idea of either Luke/Leia keeping it around as a reminder, or of Plagueis sending Kylo after it so as to finally look upon the creature he inadvertently created. Now that I type it out, I really like the idea of Kylo's rumored "obsession" with Vader stemming from his master's (Plagueis's) need to collect anything that remained of the anomaly created by his misuse of the Force.

You're right. Back when there was a description for the upcoming 2nd teaser at Celebration one of the scenes was that Ren pulled Vader's helmet from the ashes. Now that we know this didn't happen I remember thinking that we were going back to Endor.

 

But Jason never mentioned this is his "complete" shot list so it cant possibly be true...

 

I do remember reading something that said OT fans would be in for a surprise return, minor character in TFA. Wicket makes PERFECT sense. Not a major character, but fans will notice.

 

why would luke leave his fathers remains on endor? vader's helmet just sat in a pile of ashes in the middle of a forest for 30 years? the burned helmet and the magical lightsaber make no logical sense to me. it is bad storytelling, luke wouldn't just leave the helmet, but he also wouldn't keep it as some kind of reminder and/or connection to his father. and lightsabers are not indestructible

 

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't it already been confirmed Warwick Davis isn't playing an Ewok?
