SPOILER The Armoror (The Mandalorian) Surprises Us...

As hardcore as The Armorer is about The Way (and keeping your helmet on at all times, even on the jake), she has surprised me, and I'm sure you, in allowing Bo-Katan Kryze to move about without her helmet in recognition of her being shown a mighty sign in the form of a live Mythosaur.

"She walks both worlds..." The Armorer tells the culvert, explaining that she is sending Bo-Katan to gather up other wayward Mandalorian communities to bring them home. She has been shown that if an apostate like Bo-Katan can come into the community and deliver on the promise of the gift of this citizenship, and receive mighty signs, she can put the band back together so they can go out and KICK SOME @$$.

Truly Katie Sackhoff is the only actor who can live up to this role. She originated Bo-Katan as a voice actor and now she's delivering the goods like a bad@$$ in live action. She sure as shootin' had better be in the upcoming Riddick movie ('Riddick 4: Furya') or I'm going to be sorely disappointed. After all, she asked all sweet-like... };]

 

I think she made an ingenious decision to unleash Bo-Katan's natural charisma and reputation to put the Mando nation back together. She also has evolved in terms of insight and opportunity.

 

I have to confess, I'd forgotten to actually watch that episode. I usually check this site late at night and sometimes I'm not entirely awake. I now understand your question better. Additionally, I've seen a review video for the most recent episode that suggests the Armorer may be a betrayer. I get it, and it's hard to argue with if you give any of the talking points for that argument any weight. I suppose it could go either way. If that's where the writers are going, they're being very coy.

 

If you haven't noticed, the one Owl survivor that came in on the sailing ship was the same guy who played the drug dealer / pianist in Breaking Bad. Anyway...

I hope it's not the Armorer, because I'm kind of attached to her, but she does have the desire to eliminate everyone who doesn't walk in 'The Way'. She might be using Moff Gideon to help her do that. I hope it's not the survivors, but if it is, it might be because they have people in Gideon's hands under duress.

Could it be both? Could they be working under her guidance while they use Gideon for their own ends?
