The future of Star Wars...

I will see Star Wars Episode 7,8,9 but I can't make up my mind about the spin offs ect. I have a bad feeling about the spin offs to me it sounds like the Ewok movies back in the day.
Now I might see rebels and I might go and see a background story with the origin of the sith/jedi. but a young lando, fett, solo movie don't have any appeal to me.
please don't make to much star wars. rather quality over quantity

 

Casting a young Han Solo seems disasterous to me as well. IF we seen the Han & Chewie meetup, and Han winning the Falcon from Lando, I would rather see it done in REBELS. It's the right time period, Billy Dee Williams is already cast as Lando again so why not include it there.
As for the other spin-offs, if based on already known characters, bring on Obi-Wan Kenobi with Ewan McGreggor in the starring role. A young Luke, like a kid, could cameo, Ben and Owen could square off for some good drama, fight some Tuskens and Krayt Dragons, and big climax with him finally defeating Maul and have him fall into the Sarlacc pit.
Next we have Boba Fett. Bring back Temuera Morrison to be Fett and have it take place either between EMPIRE and JEDI or after JEDI before VII. If between EMPIRE and JEDI we could have Vader cameo and Jabba the Hutt possibly even Dash Rendar or Xizor as other main characters. Bring in Bossk, IG-88, Aura Sing, and Dengar to fill out the rest of the bill and BAM you got a big movie.
For the 3rd spin-off go for something completely original and epic. The Old Republic time period as the setting with hordes of Sith Lords fighting Jedi showing the "extiction" of the Sith and the beginning of the Rule of Two. Maybe take a different approach than the Bane novels did but include him as the last Sith and beginning the Rule.

As for the main story, I could see X-XII picking up about 15-20 years after IX and will be the final trilogy of the story saga. If Luke, Leia, and Han survive the upcoming trilogy, have them cameo but the series would be all new characters, with the exception of an older Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver etc. as the main characters.
Disney is sitting on a gold mine and have hundreds of stories to pull from with the novels and comics of the old EU. Star Wars may just become Disney's new flagship because of it.

 

How about a spinoff movie of that card game where Lando loses the Falcon to Solo. It could be similar to the Ed Norton movie, "Rounders."

 

Haha. Still rather see it done in REBELS. Ford could easily lend his voice like Billy Dee Williams but recasting such iconic characters as Han and Lando and keep it in the same canon would be awful.
