THE LAST JEDI PLOT - From tidbits and Cantina Members deduction

    *** I put that thread as SPOILERS since it will be based on what is officially released, spoilers and all.

    I think it's time to use our imagination folks. In the next weeks, we'll have more and more reports on actual scenes, reliable pice of information etc.

    I'll keep that list updated as much as possible.

    HERE IS WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR:

    - The movie starts right where TFA ends
    - Rey meets Luke and hand him the lightsaber
    - Luke doesn't seem to recognize Rey and ask her "Who are you?" (scene takes place in a hut)
    - Finn goes into a mission with Tran's character to infiltrate a First Order ship - base
    - Canto Bight is a Casino type planet
    - One of the scene on Canto Bight involves a jail-jailbreak and BDT's character
    - BTD (Initialed D.J.) possesses an artsy and luxurious spaceship
    - Poe is with BB-8 and attack the First Order
    - Poe is leading the battle against the First Order AT-4X on planet Crait
    - Crait is the Resistance's base after the events of The Force Awakens. It was a homeworld where Rebels and Resistance were mining gems (Kyber Crystal?) to fund their war effort.
    - Crait is a salt-snow world with volcanic rocks
    - First Order attacks the Resistance on planet Crait with AT-4X (Gorilla Walkers)
    - Resistance uses B-Wings to drop some of the minerals on the walkers to destroy them.
    - Captain Phasma is alive and faces the Jedi (Rey probably), she has a new weapon (a Staff or spear)
    - Phasma is teaming up with Executioner Stormtroopers
    - Luke trains Ray on Arch-To
    - The Republic has fallen and now it's the Resistance vs The First Order that both try to gain some territories
    - Snoke is seen in person.

    Maybe I miss some things, please add to the list. I'll keep it updated.

    FROM THAT: Can you deduct what THE LAST JEDI plot will be?

    I'll post my prediction next.

    The Luke who are you line to Rey may be part of of at the end of her training the scene apparently takes place in a hut.

    It has to be clarified that this exchange of words doesn't take place during the "Rey meets Luke" scene. It's supposedly a different scene later on in a stone hut on Ahch-To. => I think Luke asks Rey about what she is believing who she actually is.

    1. Snoke's command base - sends Kylo Ren on mission that will complete his training. Snoke kills Hux.
    2. Ahch-To. Luke meets Rey. Takes lightsaber. Asks who she is. Realises her importance but drops bombshell - he will not return.
    3. Leia meets Republic representative but is betrayed. Space battle. KoR, lead by Kylo appear and kidknap her.
    4. Finn and Poe formulate plan to free Leia
    5. Rey is isolated by Luke. Decides to explore the FJT and she begins to train herself. Luke watches on as Rey faces challenges.
    6. Finn and his girlfriend steal FO uniform and passes from an Imperial Officer at a casino.
    7. Luke tells Rey all about Ben Solo's fall to the Dark Side. Reveals some secrets about the Force.
    8. Leia is brought before Snoke and he tortures her. Finds out where Luke is. Sends Kylo Ren.
    9. Finn and his girlfriend steal FO uniform and passes from an Imperial Officer at a casino. Confrontation with Phasma.
    10. KoR arrive on Ahch-To. The KOR pursue and battle Rey. Kylo Ren fights and gets the better of Luke. Rey is fighting the KoR, Chewie shows up and helps her. They arrive to see Luke beaten and taken by Ren as his captive.
    11. Rey makes contact with Poe who tells them about plan to get Leia back. Finn and his girlfriend have boarded the SS Destroyer and are heading to Snoke's secret location.
    12. Finn and Rey are reunited on SSD. The ship is allowed passage to Snoke's secret base. They go with Artoo and Threepio to find Leia. Luke and Leia reunited.
    13. Finn and his girlfriend fight off stormtroopers with the droids, allowing Rey to find where Luke/Leia are being held.
    14. Rey is confronted by Snoke and Kylo. She fights Kylo. Ren tries to tempt her to the Dark Side again. Tells her that Luke murdered her parents - she has a flashback and remembers.
    15. Rey is massively conflicted and Ren shows great compassion for her. Ren tells Rey to leave and goes back to Snoke empty handed.
    16. Snoke is furious with Ren and tells him to murder his mother now. Ren can't do it and knows that Snoke will kill them all - Ren is no match for Snoke. But Luke Skywalker is! Ren frees Luke who battles Snoke with the Force. Ren frees Leia and they both leave together under Luke's orders. Turns out Luke orchestrated events so he could face Snoke.
    17. Rey comes back and gets in the way. Snoke manipulates Rey. Tells her that her parents are alive, that he rescued them from Luke. Luke reveals that this is why he was cautious with her - that her origins stem from the Dark Side/Empire. Rey leaves with Snoke. Ren hands Leia over to Finn, who is astonished. Ren disappears. Luke arrives and leaves on the Falcon with everyone. No one knows where Ren goes.
    18. Finishes with Rey going to the UNKNOWN REGIONS. Will she turn to the Dark Side?

    Or something like that, maybe.

    1 - Space - Kylo Ren injured is boarded to Snoke's space command station. He's placed into some bacta torturing device for he has to know his defeat is unforgiveable.

    2 - Acht To : Rey meets Luke. She handed him the lightsaber, he takes it, lightens it up and give her back. Luke feels conflicted. The Force is too strong with this girl. The risk is too high, if she turns to the dark side, it's all over and forever. He politely invite her to his basement but don't promise anything.

    3 - Finn gets up from coma, he has now some prosthetics, he's stronger, much stronger. He inquired about Rey, she's with the jedi ... Finn is amazed, he didn't know Rey was force sensitive, he's wondering if he is and what the Force really is.

    4 - Poe comes to meet him, he's very pleased to see Finn ( :p ), he asks him to go to a resistance meeting.

    5 - Leia, Poe, Finn and the resistance HQ are planning their next move and how to weaken more the First Order after Starkiller's explosion. Finn has a brilliant idea. The first order child schools have to be neutralized, the whole endoctrinment tool has to be destroyed.

    6 - The resistance receives a message from a FO officer. She wants to defect too. She has vital informations for the resistance and she's in danger after sending the message. The resistance informs her that they will be meeting on a busy place with many witnesses : A casino planet. Finn is dedicated to rescue her. He felt it is his duty to do this after what happened to him and he felt a little crush with the hologram ( :D ).

    7 Luke is meditating. He still hasn't decided what to do yet. Obi Wan force ghost appear, he talks about the girl ... I had the same problem when I decided to train your father Luke ... There is no choice. You know you have to ... Luke talks with Ben of what happened with Ben Solo and Kenobi said that if Luke doesn't train her then the fight is already over and the jedi will be extincts after him.

    8 - Finn meets with KMT on the casino planet. The FO is here and searching after her. They plan to escape after a long pursuit. KMT is backed up in a ship where she's debriefed.

    9 - Hux is now in command of the FO. Kylo Ren is his second. That's Snoke's punishment. Kylo Ren is full of anger. More than ever. He wants to meet the girl again and kill Skywalker. Hux is mocking him saying that he has a better plan and if only he had followed Snoke's order, he wouldn't be his puppet. Kylo Ren knows one day he'll kill that clown.

    10 - Luke is training Rey, she's gifted, she's improving every hour, she has that fresh mind that make Luke coming back to life. For the first time, we see him smile, a link is created between theses two. They begin to joke around and Luke is telling Rey more about the Force. She now can see Obi Wan and Yoda.

    11 - KMT is in the rebel ship, she has been debriefed. She gave the information about some places where child are grown up to become Troopers or First Order officers. Poe, Leia and Finn make a plan to get there.

    Luke & Rey on Arch-To VS Kylo Ren & The Knight of Ren
    Finn, Tran & "D.J." on Canto Bight and the First Order base VS Phasma & her squad
    Poe Dameron & the Resistance fighters on Crait VS Hux & the First Order

    Looking at my crystal bowl...It is possible that the story goes like this (very roughly):

    - Ren, Phasma & Hux meet with Snoke.
    - Snoke dispatch Kylo to finish his training by killing Luke Skywalker and to bring the "girl" back. He is accompanied with the Knights of Ren.
    - He also dispatch Phasma & her squad to find the "traitor" since he may be a threat for the First Order.
    - Hux will lead an attack on the current Resistance Base.
    - The survivors from the New Republic are mourning their lost. Somehow there is an argument between the New Republic leader and Leia over what should be the next course of action. Somehow the Resistance is blamed for what happened to Hosnian Prime.
    - Maz helps Leia into sending Finn in a secret infiltrating mission that would change the balance of the forces (Finding Snoke, the FO base, to change public's opinion and-or gather an important external force that would join and help the Resistance)
    - Starting in the underworlds and with the help of an informant, Finn establish contact with someone that can help, it includes a jailbreak of some sort. But Finn is going right into a trap.
    - Hux and his troops destroys the Resistance base. The Resistance fighters manage to escape and regroup on Crait.
    - Luke trains Rey but is reluctant into fighting any war. Somehow he feels he was dragged away from the true nature of the Force... I don't know why or how, or what it is... but why Obi Wan and Yoda lied to him... why they wanted him to kill his father...etc... After Kylo & the knights fight Luke & Rey, something drags them out of Arch-To (Finn or Leia captured?).
    - Hux locates the new Resistance base and leads the ultimate attack. The Republic and-or an external friendly force come to the rescue.
    - Rey (and Luke?) go into a rescue mission to save Finn (or Leia) from the clutches of Phasma & her troops.
    - Being all part of a trap, they have to face Kylo again and it ends up with Finn (or Leia) being rescued but with Rey (and-or) Luke being captured (or leaves willingly) and go to Snoke.

    Here are a couple of Forceback visions I have:

    - Maz Kanata is a traitor.
    - Luke has renounced as a Jedi and has became more of a "Bendu-type" Force user.
    - The events from TFA not only have left Kylo physically scarred but also psychologically. I think we will see more of his internal conflicts, flashbacks and maybe Rey leaves willingly with him at the end of this episode to face Snoke... hence, the Last Jedi.

    Luke trains Rey, but it is the new way

    We see Yoda and Obi Wan

    Snoke dispatches Kylo and the KoR to Ach-To

    Luke cannot come to grips of killing Kylo, so Rey steps in on her own and gets owned.

    Luke kicks KoR's ass.

    Ben escapes

    There is a reunion with Luke and Leia

    Leia finds out Kylo killed Han and wants to face Snoke.

    Rey vows to take down Snoke

    Poe is on the run from the FO and marked for death

    Benico Del Toro seems like a good guy but is bad. He betrays Finn and Tran

    Tran gets away

    Benico tries to assassinate Leia.

    Rey feels Finn's distress like Luke felt Han and Leia's. Luke helps Rey find
    Finn, Poe and Leia.

    Leia recovers and takes over control again. She has Benico arrested.

    The Resistance is being wiped out and over run.

    Luke and Rey are brought before Snoke. Snoke pits Luke against
    Rey
