SPECULATION The Last Jedi

    Rian has already stated that Luke is indeed the Last Jedi and I have been thinking today I agree with him as Rey is just a Jedi-in-training in this movie and not a fully fledged Jedi, similar to how Luke wasn't one in either Empire or the majority of Jedi. The same thing Vader said to Luke on Bespin could be said to Rey in this movie: "The Force is with you young Rey, but you are not a Jedi yet."

    Even Yoda told Luke he won't be a Jedi until he confronted Vader again.

    My guess:

    At the Beginning of VIII it's Luke and later on (in IX) it could be Rey and maybe Ben (the last Skywalker at the very End).
    Why?
    Snoke blames Ren and captures Rey!
    A deillusionized Ren confronts Luke and tells him about Snokes ambitions to turn Rey to the dark side. They have to join to get even a little chance to overcome the old golden rodden fish face and to press the red flush button on his king size toilet seat.
