We can sense a disturbance in the Force about this upcoming episode of The Mandalorian, and not just because it will be the 20th of the series. We've known for a couple of months that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau teamed up to co-write this one, and now, the director of the episode is sharing his excitement about it on social media.

Now, there is nothing really abnormal about Carl Weathers posting enthusiastic stuff about his work on The Mandalorian, but there seems to be more than meets the eye this time around. On Saturday, the actor-turned-director shared on Twitter that the new episode will be titled The Foundling, and reminded fans that it's directed by him. Obviously, he has a good reason to be anticipating it, given his passion for directing, but he hasn't been the only member of the cast to post something similar in recent days.

Rosario Dawson, Ahsoka Tano herself, also shared on Instagram a few days earlier that she was eagerly awaiting the next episode, which -- given the fact that Filoni had a hand in co-writing it -- has made us think that we might be getting a cameo from our favorite Togruta.

As far as the title goes, it is an interesting one to dissect. Our first thought goes to Din Djarin, who has now been re-accepted into the Children of the Watch and used to be a foundling. But it doesn't stop there -- following the end of Chapter 19, the name 'foundling' could also be attributed to Bo-Katan. In Mandalorian lore, we've always referred to foundlings as children, but we might be broadening the scope here. But there is one foundling that stands out in particular, especially if we throw Ahsoka into the mix...

Grogu hasn't really had much to do in this season besides saving Din in the second episode by flying to Kalevala with R5. But given the development he had in The Book of Boba Fett and that we know from the trailers we'll be getting another Force vision/flashback of Order 66, the title The Foundling could very well be teasing that we will finally be getting the answer we've been looking for since Chapter 6 of The Book of Boba Fett -- who rescued Grogu from the Jedi Temple during Order 66? As we teased in our piece on Ahsoka, place your bets now before it's too late! We speculated last year on Barriss Offee possibly being that character and that serving as direct set-up for the upcoming Ahsoka spin-off series coming later this year.

We will find out soon enough, when the episode hits Disney Plus on Wednesday. Check out Matt's review and discussion of Chapter 19 here, and make sure to come back for our discussion on Chapter 20 on Wednesday!
