    Fun Fact!!! Rick Baker and Phil Tippett were in those costumes. They were ridiculously hot and stinky. The experience gave Baker a new perspective on ventilation for full prosthetics.

    What struck me as I listened to this - over and over and over and over again. ;-) - was how GOOD it was.

    Think about it. Star Wars was a bit of a crappy experiment in '77 and yet they took the time to create an entire jazz-like composition that played IN THE BACKGROUND. Very cool. I mean - every movie has a soundtrack - but this was original genius.

    One of John Williams' most brilliant moments. I believe they sped up and/or slowed down certain instruments during the recording to give it a more "alien" feeling - and it still swings! And don't forget there were two complete background songs by the Modal Nodes:
