    I was looking for a thread about this comic but I dind't find it, so I'm creating one.

    The Star Wars series is inspired in the first story (or one of the first ones) created by George Lucas for the SW movie. I've been google it to see how the art looks and I think it looks very beatiful. The influence of first McQuarrie paintings and drawings are there and I just love his work.

    So, my question is: Does it worth?

    Here in Brazil the series were released in two editions:

    i have not read it, but it looks beatiful.... :) i hope they do the same with Lucas original plans for ep.7.... :p

    Did Lucas really write something about ep. 7?

    well he had a draft that he turned over to them when he sold Lucasfilm to Disney, it was not a finished script & they changed it a little bit, but the but the important parts are probably similar: being about the next generation & the offspring... If the movie will be very different it would be very interesting to see in comicbook form what Lucas had originally planned

    I've read some parts of it and I think it's great, but I absolutely prefer the OT we know. But it's a big difference between comic and on screen-format. Perhaps if they changed some names this could have been the plot in the PT??

    they could make an animated movie/series of it :) that way it will not compete with live-action :)

    I just bought it because of the art based in the paintings and first drawings of Ralph Macquarrie. But it will amazing if decided to make a cartoon, tv series or a movie about it.

    Defiantly. Perhaps a mini series? If one is to think realisticly I think it won't make it as a on-going series nor movie.

    It makes for an interesting read and the art is great, however, there is a reason that the various changes were made to the original drafts of the film. The OT is obviously better, but I think anyone reading this already knows that ;). If you are curious about what Star Wars could have been, I'd say pick it up, just don't expect an amazing story on par with the original films.

    I mean if it`s star wars it`s star wars. I`ve also red some altered universe books. I found the episode 3 one particulary interesting. A bit slow in the beginning but you get to see which role Anakin would have taken on in the fight against the Empire.

    They should also adapt the first drafts of ESB and ROTJ. I'd love to see Had Abbadon.

    That's a great comic! I have a hunch that we'll see at least some of the concepts of this comic and the script in TFA...

    Had Abbadon? Was that the Han Solo`s original name? He was an alien in that first draft aswell right?

    Had Abbadon is what Coruscant was called in the first draft of ROTJ. The Legacy comics reused the name for a deep core planet.
