In the 60 minutes interview Abrams says that opening scene is after the crawl. "This is the very opening of the movie, after the crawl..."

 

Every movie is like that ...

 

There's been scammers claiming a pre-crawl opening.

 

Yeah...not happening .

 

I'm pretty sure Luke's light sabre first appears with Maz on Takodana. This is (I think) confirmed in the Lego set below which shows Luke's light sabre hidden in the wall and revealed by turning a handle.

Wow interesting stuff. So starkiller is a sun destroyer. I think this would fit with some people's theories that Jakku is Tatooine after the destruction of one of the suns. But supposedly battle of Jakku was a few years after Endor

 

Very interesting read about Han. So he didn't marry Leia? If he didn't then they didn't have kids together and that means there are no Solo Skywalkers.

 

The Battle of Jakku was a year after Endor according to Lost Stars. That alone leads me to believe that Jakku =/= Tattooine.

 

I expect this to happen. Something happens, I presume to one of their kids and how Han and Leia deal with it separates them. The child is presumed dead in my opinion and that child if it is Kylo is taken to be trained by the Knights of Ren, or if it is Rey, then they presume her lost or died in or near Jakku and Han is their still looking for his "daughter" not stopping until he finds proof. Leia feels she has all the proof she needs. I think Kylo is more likely, but if it is Rey then Han would indeed die to save the daughter he thought he had already lost once, makes so much sense even I could not avoid the justice in the death.

These books are still being dodgy and evasive when it comes to certain specific names and plot points.

 

Don't know. I just thought if it was Leia, they would say Leia. Why not refer to her by name? Seems bit rude

 

seems strange, unless they knew they would be leaked. Which makes the leak of MSW even more sketchy. Also, isn't Lukes Lightsaber being discovered later in the film a major blow to the MSW plot line? We know he has most the structure correct from the previews, but still?

 

Considering there's nothing in on Luke or Snoke, they probably were expecting it to get leaked so kept the juicer details out of it

 

Things/code names could've been misunderstood and/or changed during shooting and post-production. MillenniumFalcon.com has a version of events as well, it's not just MSW.
