The only thing that I think is canon is the shuttle since they used the same shuttle in the droids episode of Rebels. Possibly even the pilot droid. Interior of the shuttle may be a little different.

They occasionally change the story that goes with the ride though, so I could see a canon story to go with it the next time it changes.

Me too! Oh wait, I'm not supposed to talk about that. I guess my cover was already blown when I took that flight. My daughter was four at the time. She got a kick out of that. I think that was one of the first rides she went on. She even built her own lightsaber when we exited the shuttle. I should have known I was in trouble when it had a red blade though.

 

Maisie was on the mid-season finale of the CW's The Originals last night.

 

Oh God...that tweet is going to revive the "Obi Wan has a black child/grandchild" rumour from way back when.


And no, I don't care if Obi had him so "jungle fever" but goodness a lot of these rumours and speculations are so convoluted to begin with (not to mention that 30 year gap we have to get through) that it's going to raise too many questions, especially since NOTHING canonically lends credence to Obi have a relationship with a black female. Do we REALLY NEED more explanation of things? Because if that were the case, people are going to wonder why and how and when Obi Wan met a nice black woman and now here's the result of it. Sigh...too much.

I'm sure people will think this is racist somehow, but my main point is, if that somehow happens, are people not going to go "wait, Obi Wan Kenobi was a white "celibate" Jedi...why does he have a black daughter/granddaughter?"

 

and Owen was supposed to be Obi Wan's brother and Anakin's childhood friend.

 

Ah see, WE know Jedi aren't supposed to be celibate, but how many people know that?

And again, I was mainly referencing that whole (long time ago) rumour, that not only did Obi have off spring, but that it was a black girl.

So seriously...if this happens...there would be a scene where she basically says "My name is MRS, Obi Wan Kenobi is my grandfather" and everyone is supposed to go "oh yeah...totally makes sense"

Then again, everyone seems cool with the possibility of Nordic Max Von Sydow portraying the elderly version of a dark skinned Pacif Islander, so who cares?

Maybe that Asian girl can be Lando's daughter.... SMH

I thought it would have been nice if Obi Wan, Owen and Anakin grew up together on Tatooine. Obi Wan leaves to become a Jedi, comes back and talks (an older)Anakin into it, leaving Owen behind. At the end of the trilogy Owen disowns Obi Wan and changes his name while agreeing to take Luke. Would have been a nice book end to how Owen speaks of his own flesh and blood as a crazy old man.

...instead of the slave thing. "Yeah...we're uh, we're leaving your momma behind. I'm sure you'll be fine with that in a few years."

 

NOt for a second I believe we´ll see any of Obi-Wan relatives.

Guys, relax about Maisie being relative do Obi-Wan. Ain´t gonna happen. To bring relatives of that many characters from the past six movies is impossible. They are smart people who in first place want to make money. If there´s Captain Panaka grandson or Lando´s daughter, Han, Leia, Luke´s offsprings, ol´Boba or someone related to him, someone from the house Dooku...it´s so absurd I guarantee don´t be afraid of it.

Yep! RX-24, the pilot droid from Star Tours makes a cameo in the "Droids in Distress" episode of Rebels. He's even voiced by Paul Ruebens, the original voice in the ride. Disneyland has retired him however. C-3PO is now the pilot in the Star Tours ride.

 

Is that now legit or what?
