This sounds weird. You should double check to see if it is the version you downloaded that's fan edited to death. If not, then best of luck with finding out what's going on with this!

Nope, you need to dig deeper than this. The territories where it may have originated from (Texas, California, others) were once part of Mexico, before the Texas Revolution and the Mexican-American war, in Mexican communities. It is interesting to note that the term Burrito originated from Guanajuato, which is still presently a Mexican State, and it has, and had, different names across the country.

So what I said was true, from a certain point of view.

    I guess it's worth repeating -

I've never heard of this happening, but then again I'm not much of a movie guy. Is it possible the government edited it? What are the differences?

Yeah, guys i can give you the differences especifically, the scene with leia and han talking inside the resistance base the shots and acting are way better!! the shots are closups completely different from what i saw in the cinema.
Also the scene in the woods between kylo and rey where rey is shooting at kylo is enourmosly longer you can see her despair in this version i saw here it was shorter.

Also in the whole movie the transitions where way smoother alot of scenes where just seconds longer but those seconds where valuable, the shot of the resistance base on the cut i saw was hugely wider and gave more perspective while on venezuelan version no shot after finn gets out of the falcon

    Just to name a few

How strange. What on earth could be the reason for that?

I think it's based on countries, I saw it here in Costa Rica and it's the same U.S version.

ok the title is misleading Latin-america is huge,
watched it in the UK and now Colombia (visiting family in both countries)

I currently live in China which is another dictatorship(and knew it was going to be censored that is why I don't watch movies in China they end up being 30 mins shorter)

and should come to no surprise that it was censored in Venezuela which is another controlling dictatorship
