    You are probably correct. Luke would be something left for the film. Maybe a blue glow of to the side to leave ya guessing who it is.

    I think that ghost Luke is already so presumed to be in the movie that it's likely it will be in the trailer. Everyone is already expecting it so it's not ruining anything. But, we'll see Luke appear from the front and then another ghost show up from a view behind them and not know who it is. Or, a variation on this. Like Luke alone, then from behind a whole bunch of ghosts show up and we'll be left wondering who they all are.

    We'll also see someone or something (Falcon?) being killed or destroyed, or be lead to believe that one of those things is happening.

    Those are my guesses.

    I think Leia will feature in the trailer but not be the money shot. I think its something with the current cast and not legacy characters, just like Kylo/Finn in TFA and Kylo/Rey, well I guess just Kylo and his hand at the end in TLJ trailer. So I'm thinking Rey and Kylo though showing a new image of Palpatine in some form would make people go batshit crazy(but they already did that with his voice in the teaser).

    Having seen the trailer now, I didn't really think that any of those images were a money shot.

    But the C3P0 line about his friends? I'm sure that'll put the hook in a few of the old fans.

    Yeah that seemed to be the hook line for the old schoolers. To me the closest thing to a money shot was the SD being raised from the water.
