We now have just under 300 days left until TFA hits theaters and we're seeing more rumors as the days go by. Some have asked: "Do we know too much?" Others: "We don't know enough!" So here's a little Catch-22 I've concocted in order to help pass the time.

What if you had access to the script for TFA? And I mean the whole script, and nothing but the script. You could read the thing cover to cover and back again, but you still had to wait until December 18th to actually see the film. Would you do it? Let's make it more interesting; you cannot post about it, cannot reveal anything that you read, you just have to soak in the words and then wait (im)patiently for mid-December. Would you?

I like to think that I would pass and wait to be surprised, yet a large part of me knows that I would devour that thing and have not only the dialogue but the scene descriptions/directions memorized within a week.

Take it one step further: if you DID read the script*, how do you think it would affect your theatrical experience of TFA?

*I should note here that I DO NOT have access to any script, let alone any insider information. This is all hypothetical, mean to be in good fun and maybe help you evaluate your opinion on spoilers.

Pictured below: Han laughs, because he already know what happens in TFA.

I wouldn't read it. It would be a lot of fun, but it would ruin the experience when I go to see it.

There are chunks and bits all over the place, it'll be hard to have an actual copy of the screenplay before the movie opens in December. I don't want to go against MSW's spoiler here, but, you can be sure that Luke and Leia's scenes, if there is more than one, the script was read, burned transformed into mash potatoes and people that were onset were rendered mute.
