SPECULATION What will be the last shot of Episode IX?

    Star Wars Saga movies are known for their final shot (with no dialogue) that are memorable and sometimes rewarding after 2+ hours, but Episode 9 will be the end of all ends for the Saga.

    What would be your preferred final shot in Episode 9? Sorry if this type of thread was already made as I could not find it.

    Rey, Finn and Poe standing together, looking at the sunrise, with images of Luke, Han, Leia, Anakin, Obi-wan, Padme and maybe young Ben Solo. As if they'll carry on the legacy of great heroes to build a brighter future.

    It would be cool if Force ghost Luke was in the last shot of the movie. I've already shared this idea somewhere - it could be a scene in which Rey is shown that she's not alone on her journey to restore the Jedi Order. Imagine a slow zoom at Luke smiling peacefully and behind him - out of focus - we can see other Force ghosts appearing. :)

    Or maybe a "twin suns moment" for Kylo if he redeems himself. That would be great. It's another idea I've already wrote about. He goes to Ahch-To (self-banishment perhaps), enters the rock on which Luke died, looks at the horizon aaaand... credits.

    Rey meditates, then Finn comes to her and says they're ready to go. They both go to Poe and Rose and together they ride off into the sunset, The Last Crusade-style.

    I would prefer this with just Ben. Just imagine this: Every character is asking where Ben Solo is. Rey looks into the horizon, smiling. Rey: "Who knows."
    => We see Ben and Chewie in the Falcon jumping into hyper space.

    Another scenario would be Rey (and Ben) on Tatooine with a new Jedi academy.

    Or it will end pretty bad. :p

    Rey, the last Skywalker, stands on the cliff on Ahch-To .Its calm, night.
    Force spirits of Luke, Rey's mother, Leia, Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda, stand near by, with spirit of Ben Solo joining them affectionately.
    Cosmic Force than brings a Han Solo's immortal spirit to join them , for his contribution to the Force.
    Rey looks at them , than turns her eyes to distance .
    Force spirits slowly disappear ,
    as Rey willingly disconnects from the Force, bringing balance , handing over the future to the Will of the Force.

    I’m not a fan of CGI Leia, but I would be fine if they only used her for the final shot of the Saga.

    Maybe the last shot could be after the Resistance ends the reign of The First Order. You could have Rey overlooking her students in the Jedi Academy while Poe, Finn, Rose, Chewy and BB8 fly away in the Falcon to protect the galaxy and an image of Force Ghost Luke/Leia appears in the sky and Rey gives them a nod that the galaxy is in good hands.

    That way you tie everything together: Rebellion, Resistance, The Jedi, The Falcon and the Skywalkers to close the Saga.....

    We see Kylo, who is now Ben again on Tatooine, where it all began, staring into the twin sunrise. The look on his face is one of him striving to come to terms with the horrors of his past actions and also one of acceptance, fulfillment and gratitude as we see Rey appear as a force ghost along side Luke, Anakin, Obi Wan, Yoda, etc.. Rey has sacrificed herself to save him and bring him back to the light. He's sad that she has given her life for him; he see's things clearly now. She smiles at him with a look of faith and peace. His eyes are watery as he returns with a smile that acknowledges the weight of what she has done for not only him, but the entire galaxy.

    My two cents.
