    Anakin used the Jedi to achive the power over death. He never turned in ROTJ and is calling the shots for the Sith & Empire

    Interesting thought, but I think if that were the case, that was a neat trick he did making his ghost appear at the end of ROTJ. His motivation wasn't to cheat death for himself, it was to prevent the death of those he cared about, Padme in particular.

    The whole point of Anakin's Force Ghost at the climax of RotJ was that he had fundamentally redeemed himself. Deception wouldn't have allowed him to transcend death and selfishness wouldn't have allowed him to retain his personality. Unless the Force is a dumb-ass and has a brain susceptible to con-tricks.
