    Fellow fans... something keeps bugging me and I'd like to get your opinions on this.

    In the Trailer we get our first wide shot of the Trade Port where Rey sells her junk. You can see the memorable entrance gate and a few large structures, but where is the Falcon?

    The two early concept art pieces always showed the Falcon parked at the port, so I'd always assumed that the Falcon was just sitting there.

    However, I'm struggling to find the location of the Falcon in this image - it doesn't seem to match any of the silhouettes.

    Is it possible that the Falcon arrives shortly before Rey and Finn flee away in it? Hmm... There's certainly been rumors of this in the past.

    However, the wide shot doesn't exactly match up with other shots of the trade port either. There are key props missing all over the place - so maybe this wide shot is simply unfinished or when they were filming, they just didn't care too much about continuity in placement for this wide shot (unlikely?)

    Fellows - what do you think? Is the Falcon there or is not there yet?

    Here's images that seem to give some clues as to where the Falcon might land, and they seem to point towards the Falcon being at or near location 1 or 2... but the jury is out.

    Maybe the falcon wasn't her first choice - maybe she was running towards a speeder that then gets blown up, then the only other safe option to avoid incoming TIE blasts is the nearby Falcon. But given her adeptness with the flight controls, the temporary lighting set up in the halls (scene behind Ford in the trailer), and the scaffolding on the early concept art - signs pointed the Falcon being in disrepair and Rey possibly owning the ship. But this wide shot of Finn makes it hard to pinpoint where the Falcon is and has me wondering if the Falcon shows up later.

    One theory I have is that, simialrly to what you said, she and Finn are kind of forced into the falcon after their initial transport is blown to bits. However, to add to that, What if Rey is drawn to the ship...Solo is already on Jakkku for whatever reason. Rey doesn't know the real owner and just doesn't want to die so they take the ship and it feels familiar to Rey enough to fly it, and Finn is a great fighter and knows weapons so he can work the weapons controls of The Falcon.

    You are all wrong. The Falcon is in the drive way. We bought a used vehicle about a year ago and have struggled to come up with a name. About a month ago my son and I were heading out of the house and my soon turned to me like we were under fire and yelled, "Quick dad we got to get to the Falcon."

    Oh wait . . . you mean the other Falcon the Millennium Falcon. The Black Falcon is in our drive way its a 09 Dodge Journey and its awesome.
