    If you could chose any actor or actress that hasn't been in a Star Wars movie to be in any of the upcoming movies, who would it be? What movie would they be in? What would their role be?

    Let's try to pick people who may not be currently rumored to be in an upcoming film (i.e Rodriguez)

    I will start: Peter Dinklage! We need him in here, not as an alien or little droid, but as our first actual little person humanoid! I don't care if it's in the saga or an anthology film.....just get him in there!!

    Patrick Stewart as a Post-New Republic Chancellor or Resistance Commander under General Leia might work.

    Ian McKellen     as a Shaman of the Whills could also be very interesting.

    I could just see him scribbling into an old dusty journal by candlelight, narrating the moment in his Gandalf voice:

    "The Wars of the Stars: An Unexpected Journey. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away there was a planet, and there lived a young Jedi. Not a nasty, dirty, wet planet, filled with the ends of worms..."

    (that being a playful variation on the opening text of The Hobbit)

    to be honest, one of my favorite things about Star Wars is being surprised by new faces. put a well-known actor in there and it just burps me right out of the scene ~ especially if it's an actor with other iconic roles already under their belt (*cough* Mace Windu *cough*)

    unless they're truly stupidly brilliant like Max Von Sydow, which just wrecks my whole argument ~ hahaha.
