Who is Chrissy Chong?!?!?

    Who is Chrissy Chong, and does the fact that she wrapped filming around the same time as Ford signal a tie-in with the characters... inquiring minds want to know

    She hasn't posted anything about this since the beginning



    and it was rumored that her part was so small that she had finished shooting a long time ago... reports, it seems, that have been disputed by this latest from her publicist... perhaps she has a much larger role than previously believed, or maybe she just came back for additional scenes

    I don't think you can read too much into when she finishes shooting or who with. The best we can get from this is that one of her scenes was shot in a studio and that there is a good chance it took place on the same set as whatever Ford was shooting on as well. Its likely the studio is shooting on only 1-2 sets at a time while others are being prepped and built. But for all we know, it could be two completely separate scenes on the bridge of a ship, or a planet location that happens to be the location for multiple scenes.

    I also wouldn't read too much into when she finished as a determining factor for role size. They work schedules around leads, but if she was a minor part they would have no trouble shooting her one day 2 months ago and then asking her to come back for a second day of shooting when the set/lead actors would be in the proper place for her to have a second scene.

    Chrissy is another mystery to add to the ever growing pile lol

    even if its a small part - your gonna say that it's your latest project, as you'd be a fool not to.
    I'd suspect something a fair bit bigger than an extra.. she's definately an up-n-comer and has a fair bit of tv and film behind her. maybe some dialogue in there somewhere.

    BTW - Just want to gratuitously say that IF all these women prove to be in Episode VII it will be the most beautiful cast in decades. :p

    Carrie, Billie, Maise, Christina, Katie Jarvis is pretty cute and of course lovely Daisy. We have ourselves a Daisy-head Maise. LOL

    Also there was talk of the female twins starring back in the early days of shooting in abu dabi and now nothing.

    A quick search says the healer twins.

    I read somewhere that Chong is either Ridley's stuntwoman or a character very skilled at jumping and flipping around. Source had a link to her Chong's parkour demo. On mobile and can't find it right now.

    Personally I'm glad to see such a diverse cast. Though SW could serve to show more love to Asia. Would make business sense as well seeing as how China is the next Hollywood with a billion folk ready to fork over cash.

    They aren't going to waste Chong as a background soldier. I'd be money she is a non-speaking Jedi in an action scene.

    yes alot of beautiful fit females. Maybe there are a tribe of warrior females in the movie OR the witches of dathomir. Maybe the grave digger is a dathomir male. U know all the skilled actors and actresses couLd mean that there will be alot of darth maul like action.
