    Hey guys I am curious. I am huge Matt Smith fan as he is my favorite Doctor. As we all know by now he has been cast in Episode IX. I'm interested in hearing all of your theories of whom he might be playing

    Personally I have noodling around with the idea of him being the lone surviving Jedi student of Luke's Academy/Order A.K.A Jacen Syndulla, Kanan and Hera's son. What do y'all think. please share your fun theories

    As much as I want him to have a larger role, his late introduction into the trilogy makes me believe that he has a small role. First Order is the most likely position for Smith, but even then there is not a lot of room for another villain. We have Kylo, Hux, Knights of Ren and probably Phasma still to deal with.

    I've never watched Dr.Who, so I can't really compare Matt Smith's work to anything he might do in Star Wars. But I did see his role as Prince Phillip on The Crown on Netflix. He played the part of a rigid Royal who served in the military very well. Could that have informed the casting directors as they were looking for E9 actors? Certainly. That makes me lean towards a role as a First Order official.
