    I did a quick search for this topic, and didn't see it. Forgive me if it's been addressed.

    Now that GL no longer owns and controls Star Wars, is it possible to finally discover what species Yoda is, and where he came from? I know there was a little bit of EU exploration, but nothing really solid or currently canon.

    That's part of my thought--it's always been off limits, and a mystery. Will Disney change that? I mean, properly done, it could be cool--he's one of the Whills, whatever those turn out to be. However, it could just be a cash-in, done fast, dirty and cheap. Are there even enough "fan-boys" for them to do a cash-in, or, more appropriately--do it "correct?"

    I'm also of the mind that it needs to remain unknown. Venturing further into it will detract from his mysterious nature.

    And, as I've said before when something similar was ventured: I don't wish to see his planet, because it'll be a sea of green ugly. And imagine a whole group of him all talking at once. Yikes.

    EDIT: Just thinking about the sound they'd make having a discussion makes me remember this for some reason.

    The guy in KOTOR who was Yoda's species spoke with proper diction, not the diction Yoda uses. So picture Yoda's voice but with proper diction. I never understood that

    Yeah but it was Yoda's voice I was referring too. He's very toad-like or however you wish to describe his voice, which is fine for him. But a hundred of them all holding a meeting or something? :D

    Oh i see. That would be horrible. I wish we could have heard Yaddle speak. I'd have liked to hear a female Yoda just for curiosity's sake.

    I like him being mysterious, BUT, if we do have Old Republic movies, Yoda has to be a minor, but important, padawan or something. I mean, change a few years here and there, and wazza!
