    Kath Kennedy here.

You'll say... Ohnno, not another thread on superweapons.

Follow me, and mods, feel free to merge it with something existing... That is a theory that floats away from that planet destroying refrain.

What if the Sith has found a way to mass control minds of planets inhabitants. Like a giant scale mind trick that takes the free will of billions of people, turning against the New Alliance?

Like Zombies from outer space, under the spell of a powerful Sith, of the darkside of the force itself.

That would be a fantastic puzzle for our new generation of heroes to free these people and sometimes having to chose between fighting and killing them for the greater good, or save them.

Another type of war, after the Clone Wars, The Civil War, a Psychological War or one on the level of the balancing of the Force.

You'll say, KK, you already know what's in 7.

What if we shot 3 different endings to the story and are in the process of setting the table for 8 ;)

That thread is becoming embarassing LOL.

Psychological warfare is maybe not Star Wars material.

But wait... it already been mentionned and used, many times actually.

By Ben a couple of times in ANH to manipulate the mind of a Stormtrooper, and to create hallucinations to 2 poor Stormtroopers.

By Luke in ROTJ, with pathetic Bib Fortuna.

By Qui Gon, failed attempt on Watto.

By Palpatine with Padme, Jar Jar and many people in the PT.

What if a Jedi/Sith has some sort of a Force Antenna to control masses of minds of species affected by that power.

I just want to make sure that I understand it clearly. You mean people who are alive and well, yet are incapable of free will or thought by sheer power of a Force-user/Force-weapon. I think some people are getting confused (or merely having fun) with the mention of "zombies", usually referring to a walking dead person. Hence the reason why fighting and killing them would be a dilemma, seeing as they are still alive.

Interesting concept... but I don't feel it would make for a good large-scale plot part of the series. Seems more like something worthy of the old EU. Plus it's overdone by sci-fi TV shows.

I meant people Very Alive but with no free will or highly affected by the Darkside of the Force. Like, they start rioting, have mass hallucination, join massively the New Sith army... Etc. They are enslaved by the DS and it controls their destiny.

Intersting and awesome but not sounds like star wars. To big overpower tricks do not fit with the Star Wars storytelling
