SPOILER Bothanspi "Leaks"

NOTE I don't 100% agree with this, but it was too good to pass up starting a new thread on it.

POST 1:
I was on set for the filming in pinewood. I won’t give up my job title for obvious reasons but I can promise you I was there for the whole shoot.

Things I saw were

1. Gleeson is Luke’s son

2. “Kylo” is a solo

3. There is no “rebel alliance” any more they are going by “new republic” but are struggling to get on their feet.

4. Leia is head of the Republic, but she’s become a little twisted in the head.

5. Luke tried to rebuild the jedi order but that plan went to waste after an ancient sith came out from the shadows (plagueis)

6. Plagueis did not die, he was watching from afar while his apprentice (palpatine/sidious) ran the galaxy into a state of turmoil.

7. Plagueis has taken on a new apprentice (kylo)

8. Kylo has been given the mission to hunt down Luke Skywalker for he is the only one standing in Plagueis way.

9. Luke hasn’t been guarding some tomb, but instead living in isolation and has gone completely sideways. He lost his wife and presumed his son to be dead, all the padawans he trained where killed. He’s lost all hope. He’s completely thrown away the life of a Jedi.

10. Han Solo had a falling out with Leia, he’s still a smuggler and the only friend he has left is chewy.

11. “Rey, Finn, Poe” are related to OT characters.

12. The final battle scene, which was so fun to watch being shot is major battle involving Luke and Kylo. Kylo gets badly wounded and Luke has to flee cause a whole army of stormtroopers are running towards him shooting.

13. The final shot of the film is Kylo holding Darth Vaders mask with Plagueis voice in the background “your hatred makes you strong,but you will never be Vader” Plagueis kills Kylo.

Obviously I’ve left alot out but I wanted to share the main gist of it.

I just want to say that being on set at pinewood was magical. We Used the green screen a total of maybe 6 times. Everything was built. In all my years of filming I’ve never seem anything like it. Truly. We are all in for a special treat Dec. 18


Question from Anonymous poster:
Can you tell us about the chrome troopers and what they do?
Does Luke do anything else significant in the movie aside from fighting Kylo Ren?

The chrome troopers are a special forces unit like the navy seals. They’re highly trained and the best of the best. I only saw three on set, that’s not to say they weren’t at other locations. They accompany Kylo in the opening sequences of the movie.

As for Luke, I was not at the Skellig location so I can’t give any insight as to what happened there. But Skellig is the ice planet. Luke’s show down with Kylo is on the ice planet. (Which was shot at pinewood.)

I do know however “Rey” finds Luke at Skellig and that’s how Kylo is able to track them down. What interaction she has with Luke I am not sure.

Luke does have more screen time than people think but doesn’t come into play until the latter part of the film.

I will say Mark Hamill knocked it out of the park. Phenomenal acting. He’s a “crazy old wizard”

I can assure you Kylo isn’t a pointless character who looks cool. He has alot of depth to his character. His death serves as a stepping stone for one of the main characters turn towards the Dark Side.

Plagueis is a master of the Force, not just the Dark side, but the Light also.

Also I can say for a fact that Han Solo does NOT die

That “evil castle” is actually Darth Vader’s home. I should say was his home. This is where Luke is in isolation. Now I wasn’t at Skellig but I can confirm Harrison Ford wasn’t either. And the fight scene on Skellig with Kylo and Luke was shot at pinewood which is where I was. Han was not involved and is scheduled to be in episode 8.

Picture Revenge of the Sith, instead of Vader being allowed to live by Sidious, Sidious kills Vader.

Same concept basically.

Gwendolyn Christie is an Imperial officer in charge of the Chrome Troopers, she’s does have an action scene involving Finn.

She’s a major harda** and related to Tarkin. She absolutely despises the Republic.

I do know she died very early on in their Marriage. Luke has been in isolation for the last 20 plus years.

I don’t wanna give too much away but Rey’s identity doesn’t come out till the 8th film. It’s believed she is Luke’s daughter. She’s with Han the majority of the film and doesn’t know him or Leia, but is constantly wondering who her parents are.

Plagueis was mocap played by Serkis, I am not sure what the finished product looks like. (I’m not post production) But from the concept art he does look like an aged Muun.

Poe is related to Antilles. And Finn becomes on board with the republic when he finds out his father was Lando Calrissian.

I’ve heard a buzz that Billy D Williams will be in episode 8 but he is presumed dead in episode 7.

I’m sorry I do not. That doesn’t ring a bell. But like I said before I was only at pinewood that could of taken place at a location where I wasn’t present. 80% of the movie was shot at pinewood. Most of the other locations were used for back drop and or small quick sequences.

Gleeson has gone rogue. He was apart of the new republic but detoured once he found out Leia has gone mad and power crazy. He’s gone under cover to work with the Empire to stop the super weapon Leia has built.

Gleeson has a hard time trying to figure out where is allegiance lies. He hates the empire but hates what the republic has turned into. He has taken it upon himself to stop both sides.

It was truly great to watch. Gleeson puts on a great performance. (From what I saw in person obviously)


Lupita was not at the pinewood set. However I have heard from the time I was on set that she is playing a mocap character on Tatooine.

UPDATE 4
Warning.

Take everything I have said with a grain of salt. Post production could edit out scenes we filmed. But the overall story will not change.


Chewbacca is with Han the whole time. They have several sequences where the action gets intense! The rumors are true, he does pull the arm out of Peggs socket! Now I didn’t film it personally but have seen it on the monitor. Was very cool!!


UPDATE 5
Chewbacca still has his trusty crossbow blaster.

And Adam Driver. He does amazing. Not enough can be said. Nicest guy you’ll meet in person but once the cameras roll he flips the switch. Everyone is in for a real treat.

His lightsaber is a gift from Plagueis. It is one of the first lightsabers ever constructed by the Sith. He’s excellent at wielding his weapon and is a great pilot like his dad and grandfather (Vader)


UPDATE 6
@ anonymous I was upset to see Kylo die aswell. But like I said it opens the door for Plagueis to have the apprentice he truly wants. This takes place in episode 8.

No OT characters die in this film. And yes the story is focused on Rey and Finn and Poe. Put we do see plenty of OT characters and new characters. JJ really handled it well in my opinion.

The only true information from this article is that BB-8 belongs to Poe.
And Admiral Ackbar.
Christie is head of the Chrome Troopers but I’ve stated this before.
Also, somewhat correct about Rey as an alias. She goes by Rey but that’s not her birth name.
MVS is not Bobba Fett.


Luke appears in the third act and has more screen time than rumors have stated.

Ive stated before that Rey’s identity isn’t revealed until the 8th film. But most assume she is Luke’s daughter since she is with solo for most of the film. Han and Leia had one child. “KYLO”

Kanan from Rebels.



He’s the one who sets the story in motion. He tells our new heros about the fall of the Jedi order and how the galaxy got into the shape it’s in.
Our new heros ask to be trained in the Force and Kanan tells them he is unable to, due to the fact he gave up that life long ago. But knows of someone who can, assuming he is still alive. That’s when he tells them about Luke.
They want to know where to find him and Kanan points them in the direction of Han Solo. The only person who may know where he is.


Also to answer your Kanan question. Something happens during the tv show Star Wars Rebels where Kanan becomes scarred and unwilling to continue the life of a Jedi. It’s not touched on in the movie, but from my understanding it is the climax of the Rebels show.


Hair styles?…
Moving on.
Clothes are very similar to the OT. The New Republic has dawned a light grey and blue concept. While the Empire is still the same.
R2 is with Luke.
And 3PO is accompanying Gleeson throughout the film.


3PO has been with Gleeson (young skywalker) his whole life. Gleeson believes his father to be dead due to the fact he hasn’t seen him in 20 plus years and disappeared out of thin air.
(We find out why Luke dissappeared) Luke’s Jedi order was destroyed by Plaguies. Luke lost his wife and presumed his son to be dead also. But Gleeson escaped.
Gleeson has 3PO as a reminder of his father and 3PO has some good dialog explaining what had happened to master Luke and tells him about his father and the great adventures he went on.
A good story telling technique without using flashbacks.
Spoiler!!!
There are NO flashbacks in this movie. It’s a cheap way to write a movie.

And JJ isn’t cheap.

I don’t guess it’s not British really (haven’t seen him in a movie in a while)…he’s from Sweden….so let’s just say his accent has a European influence. Still, my point remains.

You ask a good question. MVS doesn’t have a noticeable accent in this film. His voice in the film is different than his regular voice.


Sp asks:
I just want to know how they plan the light saber floating in space thing. Makes no sense. Luke’s saber was lost at Bespin, how did it end up in space? And how did it survive reentry? Anakins got chopped in half easy enough, but we’re to believe it could survive reentry?! They better have a plausible reason or the whole idea just seems dumb. Any thoughts as to the reasoning of this plot point?

It’s not a plot point. It’s misdirection.


Trust me. JJ doesn’t want to ruin star wars. He did amazing. Everyone will love it.

OT fans will get their fix. You will see a great performance by Hamill, Ford, and Fisher.
Han gets the most screen time with Luke in the 3rd act. Leia has scenes all throughout the film.
JJ didn’t waste this opportunity.

1. How does Kylo Ren fit into this story? Is he related to the Solos? What is his motivation?

Yes he is Han and Leia’s son. He was born not long after ROTJ. When his parents split that took a toll on him. He began spending his time fascinating about his grandfather and ancient sith. He fell into the hands of Darth Plagueis, from there Plagueis promised him he will be more powerful than Vader was. This is what got Kylo hooked. And as we know, once down the dark path you go, forever will it dominate your destiny.

2. Are the rumours that Finn is a pacifist true? Does he stick to his moral principles throughout the film or does he eventually succumb and become a warrior?

Finn was drafted into the Imperial academy, he does not want to be apart of the empire. And when he is ordered to execute innocent people he detours from the empire. Once he meets up with out new heros (rey, poe) he finds a cause worth fighting for. He is force sensitive.

You’ve every right to be skeptical. And I do hope you enjoy the film as much as I have enjoyed working on it. Fortunately I have been hired on for episode 8. What a dream come true!
Now to answer your question.
Tho it is not implied in TFA who Rey is or where she comes from there are several clues that lead to who she is.
Living on Tatooine, not knowing who her parents are. After she meets up with Kanan, Rey, Finn and Poe are with Han most of the film looking for Luke. (Finn and Poe go there own way, I can get into that later) Han implies that he had a son. Only one child.
So from what I’ve seen at pinewood and the way the story is shaping up for episode 8, my most educated guess is that she is Luke’s daughter.


I don’t know for 100 percent certainty for its not revealed in TFA, but all signs point to her being Luke’s daughter.


I can promise you that NO OT characters die in TFA.
You can rest easy my friend.
As for future installments I can’t give you any clarity. I just know Han, Luke, and Leia will be back for episode 8.

This happens right after Rey, Finn and Poe talk to Kanan.
Rey, is all on board to find Luke, while Finn and Poe are skeptical. They are debating weather or not to seek out this old Jedi who is presumed dead anyway.
That’s when “Rose” shows them what will happen to the galaxy if they don’t go. As the vision ends her bar gets raided by Chrome troopers! Rey, Finn and Poe need to escape quickly. While they are fleeing Han Solo offers to rescue them on his falcon.
If you’ve seen TFA trailer you’ll remember the falcon flying over Tatooine being shot at by tie fighters, that takes place soon after Han and our heros flee from the bar and in the falcon.


I stated on another article that star wars in 1977 was the first movie I remember going to as a child. So to work on this film was a dream come true.
So as a fan, I would be upset too. JJ won’t be remembered as the guy who killed Han. He’s already gotten enough flack for his Star Trek films (which I liked)


“Luke has one scene at the end of the film where Rey gives him his lightsaber”
Luke says “Oh thank god. I lost the 35 years ago and my life hasn’t been complete since. Now I can I finally live my life, watch out force here I come!!”
True fans know this is misinformation. The whole lightsaber plot point is the mystery box at its finest.


I am sure that MSW and this website work hard and are truly trying to bring the best information available to fans.
However many of these leaks are purposely put out to detour people from the real information.
I wish I could give you some proof, as of now all I can do is give you all the information I have and when the movie comes out we will see who is right. You guys have been amazing, truly.
I bring this information because I have received free so I give free. As a star wars fan and a fan of this website I wanted the fans to know some real leaks. Not some of these crazy rumors I have heard for the past 6 months.
