Well I certainly picked a bad night to say nice things about MSW!

Wow.

 

You guys are amazing.

 

Should I feel bad that I have a sense of relief now that Mr. Ward is banned? We can talk about the speculation in peace without fear of being called "morns".

 

The topic of the thread is this guy.... which is why I suggest we should lock the thread.

 

Maybe because he doesn't actually know them? He clearly has some connection to the production but much of what he says is little more than vague descriptions of scenes that most reasonable people would assume to be in the movie. Factor in someone with some inside knowledge and you have MSW.

Also- I just got in an argument with the jerkhole on twitter last night. Dude is like school in summer, no class.

 

Viral, I am going to school for my masters in psych. I've worked in the mental health field for almost a decade. There is some stuff going on with that dude that he needs help with. Don't take it personally. There was no way anyone could continue any type of mutual relationship between himself and others as he clearly hasn't matured to the point of being able to take valid criticism. He's gone and the site is better for it. I wish he could have toned down the vitriol because I did find some of his stuff valuable but he can't seem to understand that disagreement =/= hate.

 

The thread doesn't have to be locked but discussion should turn away from Ward and back to the stuff he is posting

One thing that has puzzled me as I read his stuff, and something Ward is still trying to figure out himself, is how many planets are we going to see in VII? What's the average for a Star Wars film? Well you know what that's something I can do

Episode I- Naboo, Tatooine, Coruscant
Episode II- Coruscant, Kamino, Naboo, Geonosis
Episode III- Coruscant, Mustafar, Utapau, and a bunch of cameos
Episode IV- Tatooine, Yavin IV (but yes it did have the Death Star)
Episode V- Hoth, Bespin, Dagobah
Episode VI- Tatooine, Endor
Episode VII- Tatooine? Snowy Planet? What else?

 

First of all thank you to the mods for getting things back under control. This train had already jumped the tracks and was burning before Jason came in and poured gasoline on it last night.

I personally feel we should be able to discuss MSW spoilers here. But there is no way for people to separate the info from the man reporting it and it's just gonna go off the rails again. This is the only thread that's a problem and so for that reason I'd support it being locked.

As for Jason and MSW, I was never a fan of his personally to begin with. I went to the site and listened to the podcasts (with a healthy grain of salt) because he's the only spoiler game in town right now and I just wanted the info. I just tuned out all the snarky BS.

But after last night I'm honestly conflicted about going to his site and listening to the post casts just on general principle. I have a hard time supporting someone's site who is such a monumental jack ass and gives the Star Wars online community such a black eye.

What a shame because I do think he probably has some real info.

 

It sound like we may just have 3 primary planets. Tatooine, a Jungle planet (where the exotic city and Rose's pub are located, perhaps the Pirate base), and the Snowy planet with the evil castle, lake, islands, etc. We may get others if there are some shots of Kylo Ren searching for other relics.

 

Three is about average

 

I really want more environments like this in the next movies.
