GAME Star Wars NFL Pick 'Em III

Hey guys and gals! Training Camps are about to open, and since I'm just now getting excited for the NFL actually I've been ready since the confetti finished falling it's finally an appropriate time to talk about the upcoming season, I thought we could start thinking about doing this again this year.

Since Voxx is no longer around to run it, I'll throw my name in the hat for heading this years Pick 'Em. But, seeing as we have more than a couple mods here, if you would prefer it to be done by a mod thats fine with me too! And if there's any change to the format or other suggestions, I'd say now is the time to figure that out.

I'm gonna try and name everyone here from last year, and then encourage some recruitment...
@Cole @Alamact @JeffG. @Trevor @Duke Groundrunner @Ham Solo @P1B5F and unfortunately I think that was all we had from last year, with even a couple of those dropping out. We can do better than that this year though!

@Addi Ras, you expressed interest in joining... and @PrincessLeiaCB3 how about you??

I'm going to start dropping some word around the Cantina in the next week or so, lets get this rolling!

If we stick to previous years formats, whoever runs this will pick 5 matchups each week from the NFL's 12-16 games each week. Pick correctly, and you get a point. Then in the playoffs we might mix it up a little, but essentially the name of the game is "pick the winner"... or Pick 'Em, if you will

And it doesn't matter if you're a newcomer or fanatic; it's all a crapshoot...

For reference: @Alamact, who (and I in no way mean this in a condescending way) knew nothing about the NFL last year before joining and ended up in 2nd place and narrowly missed winning it all. Oh, and he joined a couple weeks late.

It's for everyone, and its all for fun. And, of course, we add a Star Wars theme to it.

Proposing a (small) change for this year:

• Bumping the amount of games picked each week from 5 to 7, each game still being worth 1 point.
• The 3 "primetime" games are always picked: Thursday night, Sunday night, and Monday night games.
• The remaining 4 games will be selected from the best/closest projected games on Sunday afternoon, with a conscious effort made to rotate through all teams as best as can be done throughout the season. (i.e., fair representation for all)

That's it for now! I also liked how we upped the ante in the playoffs / Super Bowl, so I'd say let's stick to that as well?
Any other ideas?
