The Battlefront Classic Collection bans a Star Wars planet from being used as a profile name

I'm guessing it's because the first four letters of the word on their own are a racial slur. I remember seeing a Reddit post where somebody tried to use the name Cassian in the game and it was detecting the "dirty word" between the C and the ian.

 

Use a zero instead of an "o".

 

For a non-american and non-english person (I am french) can you briefly tell me what that 4 letters mean (I just want a general meaning, don't need to be much precise)

 

The first four letters of Yoda's home is used as a slur for Italian Americans and Italians in general.

I'm assuming that "Saturday" is problematic because of the middle 4 letters t u r d, which just still makes me giggle like an 8 yr old. I still just don't see the point in making an issue about this, both these attempted user names seem to only serve the purpose of testing the filter, which is obviously very strict. I would assume these filters are common, I know there have been certain words that are filtered here in the Cantina that have made me laugh as well. Definitely not some some grand conspiracy of censorship.

 

So it's almost a week later and you still haven't come up with a profile name or do you just enjoy playing with the word filter as much as the game itself?

It's people called Cassandra or Fanny I feel sorry for. Especially the Fannies.

Also any Butterworths or Butterfields. And it's not as if I C Wiener hasn't got enough to worry about.

The Willys of this world must be used to it by now though.

 

Soooo..... Who do you feel the most pity for? Fannies or Willies? I would say that Willies surely take more beatings.

And if you were in the US this past week, you would have never heard Pecker on TV as much. I'm shushing my inner child constantly.
