    I loved the scene from the comic you're referring to. However, I did enjoy how they used Carol's threat to really freak the kid out. I was wondering how they were gonna do this scene as Deanna (Douglas) had already died, since her character role was the one that accidentally shot Carl in the comic. I figured it would be Ron that shot Carl eventually. Man, was I relieved when he finally got his (Go, Michonne!). Man that whole family died in like less than 30 seconds...Anyways, I knew from the moment the gun went off that they were actually gonna do the "carl getting shot in the eye" gig, and I'm really glad they went there. Now if TV show Carl will wear a proper eye patch instead of those ridiculous one-eyed sunglasses, I'll be happy. :)

    As for Glenn's second near-death experience this season...yeah, I'm done...and it was sad, I realized that I actually didn't care if he lived or died last night. I think it was because in my emotions, I already went there with the Nick incident. I think if Negan kills Glenn, it will still have a lot of impact, especially given the brutality in which he does it in the comic, but I tend to think that with all the Glenn teasing that it will be Daryl instead. I'm gonna go ahead and call it. Daryl dies brutally at the hand of Negan (or Lucille, I guess you could say) this season.

    It went down pretty much like the comic with some variations in the characters involved, but it was very true to its inspiration. This episode was another turning point for our characters, and I really enjoyed it personally.

    I hate these long breaks... lol. I nearly forgot all the details of the last episode. Right now with everyone split up, it's hard to remember who was where and how they got there and all. Still a terrific episode. Can't wait for next week. :)

    Yeah i did like them reusing Carol's voiceover Hard Case.

    I wish Carol had her own show .. just.. go off looking for other survivors or something

    i got really pissed in the comics with cover 139

    That totally looked like
    survivors from Asia or something which would of been so interesting to hear something of the outside world. Especially with the title 'From the Edge of the World'

    anyway thats what i'd like to see. a spin-off revolving around Carol going to see the edge of the world :)

    #610 - Great episode. I really enjoyed the buddy cop feel with Rick and Daryl and I'm very excited about the introduction of one of my favorite characters from the comic, although he was admittedly overshadowed by the Richonne introduction (yet he did get the last laugh). Jesus totally flew under the radar for me. I knew if Negan was on the horizon that Jesus would have to be introduced soon, but I kind of just thought they would have Daryl kind of fill that role. His introduction was refreshing and surprising, but I have to say that it makes me even more concerned about Daryl's fate by the end of season 6. I think he's going to bite the bullet. On the Richonne note, it actually makes sense in light of the show's absence of the comic's Andrea character and I can't think of another companion that makes more sense for Rick than the one that's been under his nose the whole time. Looking forward to where all the threads set up in this episode will lead.

    Sorry it took me so long to respond. I saw your comment days ago while I was at work but forgot to come back to it.

    An IPA is a quite a bit darker than bud light. Imagine a dark golden hue when held up to the light. Similar to a dark Apple juice color. The flavor is a bitter almost acidic and very hopoy with a malty finish. Definatly not for everyone, I would not recommend going out and ordering a bucket of them because they are on the heavy side and can be very filling.

    On the episode it was nuts man. Tomorrows episode has a lot of explaining to do. And the Negan guy is finally showung his face so some shits about to go down .

    So the last post on The Walking Dead thread is from 2016?? Say it ain't so!! I was going to open a new thread, found this one, decided to go with it.

    So much has happened since then, what do the hard core TWD fans think of the show now?

    Negan has become so over the top, he needs to go, BAD.....hope they deviate from the comic and have Rick finish him off once and for all - has to be some sort of poetic justice. How about some of Negan's henchmen become walkers and Negan is thrown into a room with them?

    I think the show needs to announce a final episode and work towards it.

    I haven't read a single issue from the comics but from what I understand they have. In the sense of Carl's imminent death. They're kinda going the way of SW with all of the originals nearly gone.

    I think Negan will be dead at season's end. Least they advertise it that way. Is he still alive in the current issues of the comics?

    @JeffG. In the comics Rick doublecrosses Negan and cuts him badly but he recovers. They take Negan prisoner in Alexandria for quite some time. There is a time jump then Rick and crew are facing the "whisperers", which are many times worse than the Saviors. Did not read that far but apparently they get Negan to help them vs the whisperers.
