    Will we finally find out in The Force Awakens?
    He always carries it... since... forever.
    What's hiding inside?

    Is it only for fashion?
    Will it be the same purse than 30 years ago?
    Anyone thinks that the purse is pretty small for a big wookie with big hands?
    Is he carrying makeup?

    Any idea?

    It's a little small to carry a lunch, maybe a sandwich.
    Too small for tools.
    I don't think the Millennium Falcon needs keys, nor his house on Kashyyyk.

    Makeup is pretty useless on a Wookie, maybe an hair trimmer?

    So here's the content of a lady's purse (a generic one, let's say).

    Glasses and or sunglasses - We've never seen Chewie with glasses... have you seen glasses in Star Wars? I don't think it exists.
    Notebook/diary - That's a possibility... but again... I have not seen paper and pen in the Star Wars universe.. maybe an electronic wookie diary.
    Makeup - Wookies don't wear make-up
    Receipts - hum... maybe Chewie is Han's accountant? That is a possibility
    Snacks - Definitely... some chewie bars
    Oils - Hum... why not, maybe also hair products
    Mints, Floss - Who doesn't have these in their purse... it's a must for our favorite wookie.
    Earbuds/Phone/iPad/iPod - Why not, a Wookie can keep himself entertain.
    Change? - Yes... of course, he keeps his money in there, credit cards, checks.
    Flash Drive? - Hum... Star Warsy storage something-something... why not, it can be useful.
    Tissues - Oh definitely! Chewie is crying all the time.

    So... bottomline, he could be carrying some basic items from any Lady's purse.


    Or maybe it's just empty and he carries it just because he thinks it's cool.
