    You know, it started as a humor thread, but I sort of WANT to know what's in the wookie's bag...

    Maybe he's some sort of a medicine wookie. Remember when Leia got hit in ROTJ... and Chewie is in the walker... Han asks him to come down for help.

    Maybe we don't know it yet, he'S more than a copilot... he's a doctor, and his bag is full of medicine and bandages and syringes.

    Not to be super nerdy, but from what I know, newer versions of the Star Wars A New Hope novel say Princess Leia gave Chewbacca a medal in a private ceremony.
