EVERY OTHER line is officially claimed already from the covergirl quotes. You would think the hot chick in the upcoming SW movie would get couple lines, but there is only one left. Better than 50/50 chance she says it so...

Real question is to who and when.

And if your correct and they have a past. Wouldn't it make the most sense for Rey to finish what he started? B/c unless she is Luke's kid, don't see why she would be so into Luke's legacy...

 

The same logic could be applied to Finn then as well.

 

I'm thinking we could see both Rey and Finn being trained by Luke. With the trilogy focusing on Rey's struggle to not fall to the darkside for wanting revenge for Kylo killing Han her daddy. Finn along for the ride as her conscience as she goes through this struggle, and the two eventually hook up. Actually, that's not too bad at all when I think about it.

 

Finn doesn't live a drab, pointless existence on a desert world.

maybe she was being trained as a knight of ren at one point but left
connected to him and they fought side by side as children
maybe she was sent first to look for "the last jedi" or just became disillusioned and decided to stay
she was after the saber of anakin as well and it brought her here
Kylo is just surprised she decided to stay or made no efforts past leaving this place
especially if the earlier rumors are true and they are decedents of royalty

her last act of defiance is once she does get the saber she decides to return it to the rightful family
maybe even be trained by him because what she knows is coming is bigger than her training previously could handle

Like as was perhaps seen (/Film) with Kes Dameron in the first issue of Mavel's Shattered Empire. They withheld Kes's last name until the issue was out.

 

She looks great.

 

The big twist is that she is clearly Luke and Leia's daughter. Observe these the tension between Luke and Leia in these cut ESB scenes. Their connection goes far beyond the "kiss to make Han jealous" as depicted in the original vision. Also consider that early posters suggest that Leia is more attached to Luke rather than Han.

The is theory is practically confirmed by analyzing Rey's history and appearance. First, consider Princess Rey's features are without a doubt inspired by Princess Leia and Padme. Why would the producers insist on yet another brown-haired heroine (with design elements that are a clear nod to Padme and Leia) unless it was done on purpose. We can safely determine that Rey is related to a brave and independent princess in a galaxy far, far, away. That is without question.

Now on to her father. How could it be Luke? Let's take a look at the hints. Like her father, she begins her journey on a desert planet, a common and over-looked citizen. The ROTJ dialogue in the trailer makers far more sense considering Rey's true origins. Posters and merchandise suggest that it is not Finn but Rey who has the "Luke" spot in the new line-up. She is the new force-sensitive hero, thrust into an unexpected adventure that connects to the "family story" of the Skywalkers. All materials concerning Rey seem to suggest either Luke or Leia. Why not both? The story begins with Vader (prequels) then the son (Luke) followed by his daughter (Rey).

The Luke and Leia pairing was rumored to be part of Lucas' original plan from several unknown sources and sites somewhere on the internet. However, his colleagues advised against it, and thus the Han Solo pairing was born.

With the success of Game of Thrones and the fan acceptance of the Lannister romance, the Star Wars saga can now be told in the way it was always intended, leading up to the powerful pure-blooded Skywalker savior who will truly restore balance to the force.

Ew, I read V.C. Andrews (Which is full of incest or romances between people who grew up thinking they were related but not actually. Yeah) and this squicks me out (At least VCA books take place in their own weird and strange world!).

 

Yeah it's a gross fake theory and I am very glad it's not true lol. Even the Luke/Leia kiss in ESB creeps me out a little although I get Leia's real intentions with it. But really, some of those cut ESB scenes are little ...disturbing and I am glad they didn't make it in the movie. I was watching them the other night and while some of the cut scenes were pretty neat, I was very happy with the choice to keep some of the odd and awkward scenes out of the film...

I hope it was a joke but who knows it was posted earlier this year. In fact if I remember it got locked but then they started posting this idea on other threads too. I can't link them because I can't remember which pages they were on but yep its been an idea already floated.
