June Star Wars comic solicitations have arrived! The first month of the summer will bring the end of some ongoing storylines such as the trial of Lando Calrissian, which began in Star Wars #44, and the Jango Fett miniseries, which just kicked off with a bang. Over in The High Republic, there is a major Nameless problem as Baron Boolan's mad schemes are unleashed. And as an added treat, Marvel has released an early look at July's Ahsoka #1.

Before we get going, here are a few recent things in the galaxy of Star Wars comics you may have missed:
    • Alyssa Wong's Doctor Aphra recently won a GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Comic Book. The GLAAD Media Awards honor achievements in LGBTQ+ representation
    • StarWars.com shared a preview for April 24's Darth Maul: Black, White & Red #1
    • Dark Horse will be releasing a massive new collection of IDW's Tales from Vader's Castle series in September
    • In semi-related Star Wars comic news, a live-action adaptation of Charles Soule's Eight Billion Genies is in the works from producer Seth Rogen and Point Grey Pictures. The film will be written by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse scribe and co-director Rodney Rothman and distributed by Amazon MGM Studios. Soule is on as an executive producer.

Now, looking ahead to June, check with your local comic book shop on what pre-order options they have available (or you can be boring and choose digital). You can visit here for a refresher on what else is coming from Star Wars comics. As a reminder, the very nature of comic solicitations is spoiler-filled, so be aware before going forward.
