Kind of telling that the FO removed the head, the brains, and just put guns there. That strikes me as kinda funny!

Also, angel man, a little quick with that racism card, huh?

Yep. For some reason I didn't see Finn on the first few watch-throughs. Don't know why, so perhaps the real racist is me...

Foo on the idea that the prequel's art design suited anything than a real regression of the grit, grime, wear, tear and organic nature of the OT designs.

Point taken though than the "white wall" tie fighters are an example of a brand manager being so in love with iconic toys and images, that it influences art design to simply replicate what has come before, what I dub the "Malibu Stacy, Now With a New Hat!" syndrome. :)

None the less, beyond the fact Hasbro wanted recognizable tie fighters and storm troopers back (but both updated in trivial ways), the art design overall is particularly eye-opening and interesting to me for TFA.

The shots from Vanity Fair of the Cantina prove this to me, as does the Bullhead spoiler mask.

These things are subjective of course, but from where I stand, the art design (and even the look and packaging of the toys) look great to me.

I love how things are old and worn again and even machines atrophy and wither, that life is not perfect or sanitized like Star Trek, it's still organic, living and breathing. I see that organic quality all through out the art design so far and it pleases me greatly.

This new scene really reminds me of Killzone 3.
