5 things I want to see in Episode 8

    Ok, if you were writing the sequel to The Force Awakens, what are 5 things you would want to include in the film? Please base this off of TFA and the films, not Rebels or Comics. Can't wait to here all of the good ideas!

    Here are mine:

    1. Luke and Leia Reunion: I want a heartfelt scene between the most iconic siblings in the galaxy. In that scene I want Han honored in some way as well.

    2. Luke to use the force and his lightsaber: This is a no-brainer but I want to see Luke ignite that iconic green saber and use it. I would also love to see Luke use a new force ability in a key moment that would surprise Rey and the audience.

    3. Capital Ships vs. Star Destroyers: A strategic space battle pitting the wits of Resistance Captains and pilots vs. General Hux and his fleet! Poe as Black Leader!

    4. Lando returns!: He will come out of retirement and rejoins Nien Nunb and Admiral Akbar to battle Hux. I want Lando vs. Hux!

    5. Snoke in person: We need a better look at this guy in action!

    There are so many other things I'd like to see. What about you guys?

    1.) Lukr Skywaler lift an X-Wing with the force.

    2.) Snoke using A Lihhtsaber.

    3.) ROTS-STYLE Space Battles.

    4.) The ABSENCE of any super weapons (like The PT).

    5.) Maz's (PRESUMABLY) NEE Castle.

    It would be awesome if we see Luke's old X-Wing is on Ach-To and he force lifts it out of a it's hiding place.

    I actually would like more of A New Hope meets ROTS style only with Capital Ships. I'd love to see it without intercutting to other scenes just like A New Hope.

    100% agree. I can see the weapons they talked about like the Warhammer (that can rip through Capital Ships) and the Array (that can disable all the ships in a small vicinity).

    Maybe Maz will run Luke's new Jedi Temple! Maz is ready for the fight against the dark side.

    I think that Maz Kanata is kind of "over it." The New Republic doesn't really have any ships as it doesn't have A STSNDING MILITSRY PRESENCE anymore sadly. Maybe Lukr Skywalker's X-Wing is with The Resistence huddle hnder the tarp just like Artoo is .

    1. Hux survives episode 8

    2. We learn a little bit more about Snoke's backstory, and motives.

    3 Hux survives episode 8

    4. Phasma emerges from the trash compactor like boba fett emerging from the sarlacc pit.

    5 And oh, did I mention I want Hux to survive episode 8?

    1. Lots of cool Luke and Rey interactions, and Luke playingan important role.

    2. Kylo Ren, meaner and stronger than ever, with his KOR buddies this time.

    3. Rey and Poe sharing scenes together, and her, Poe, and Finn ALL sharing scenes together as well.

    4. Snoke in person, and more details on him.

    5. More details on both Rey's past, and details on what happened with Luke, why he left, and what he's been doing all this time.

    There are of course more, but those are five that I came up with off-hand.

    1. Poe and Finn kicking the FO in the teeth
    2. Kylo Ren being meaner than a junkyard dog and actually schooling Rey ~ only to lose his sh*t again at the end.

    When that happens I want to hear the "Luke and Leia" theme. It's the most painfully underused motif in the whole saga :(

    I'm counting that as 1.

    2. Phasma chasing Finn down in vengeance

    3. Rey's origins

    4. A battle the Resistance loses, with Luke coming to save them just in time (show us why these guys need his help so bad!)

    5. A proper send-off for Han

    I'd like to see a harmless little love triangle between Rey, Poe and Finn. We know Finn has a crush on Rey. We know Finn and Poe became friends. If Poe was to flirt with Rey, it would be very reminiscent of Han, Luke and Leia in ESB, before Lucas made it an incest moment. :eek:

    Luke vs. Kylo and the Knights of Ren. Luke shows why he's the master as he destroys the KoR singlehandedly and his nephew runs away into Episode 9.

    1. I'd like to see Luke train Rey, and we get a hint how much he has grown. As someone said above like him lifting up am X-wing and using his lightsaber (this could even be in battle with the KOR). Maybe even Force Ghost (Yoda and Obi-Wan) helping Luke?

    2. Snoke's background and motives and the training of the more powerful Kylo Ren.

    3. Some high quality space battle with more than just X-wings amd TIE-fighters. Bring in the big guns.

    4. A wtf-mindblowing-how-who-when-moment like cave on Dagobah or I am your father. Not exact replica's but a moment with the emotional gravitas of those scenes.

    1. more beautiful moments of Rey (like the early jakku scenes) with her theme playing.
    2. more Kylo Ren being wickedly composed one minute.. and being insanely off-kilter the next.
    3. more Finn. so many directions his character could go in.
    4. to see Snoke in person (in film obviously lol). i don't think the surface has even been scratched yet with who Snoke is, what he wants, what he can do... and who HE answers to.
    5. more Luke. i mean... cmon... more Luke.

    1. Luke in a lightsabrebattle. And i would like his skill-level to be awsome. Not in a Anakin/Obi-Wan from ep3 but a slow defensive style. And his oponent tries everything with alot of anger (dark side daah...) but still doesnt harm him. He can be as superior as Vader is to Esra/Kanan. (This thing could be pushed to ep IX but its still something I want to se someday.)
    2. A spacebattle. No planets, just space.
    3. Kylo Ren haunted by Han. It should not be Han himself haunting him like somekind of ghost. But Kylos own mind because he killes his own father.
    4. A familiar planet/moon. Yavin IV, Tatoinee, Endor etc. with some old familiar structures. Jurassic World has some good examples of that.
    5. Luke not wearing the classic sand/brown collored thick clothes. Something more like the black one from ROTJ with a hooded cloak would be better.

    Yes to all of that. I really want to see Kylo being tormented at random moments that make him even more unpredictable. Maybe even hear Han's voice in his head from when he was a kid.

    Luke wearing black and grey would be cool. I really contrasts that bright green saber blade!

    I think we ALL want a killer space battle, not one in the atmosphere attacking ground targets. I want dogfighting, big ships, strategy. Bring in the new version of the Y-Wing, B-Wing and A-Wing plus surprise us with something new.

    How about this.....Rey and Chewie join the space battle in the Falcon and LUKE IN AN X-WING!
