7 things you'd change about the prequel trilogy

I would have liked Anakin and Obi-Wan to be less hammy on Mustafar in "Revenge of the Sith". Actually, I can say the same about Palpatine.


As for Anakin's age in "The Phantom Menace" . . . I have never understood the hang up over that. I never saw the need that Anakin had to be around the same age in that movie as Luke was in "A New Hope". This smacks of unoriginality and some desire for everything to be similar or the same. Well . . . at least to me.

 

Wipe them out, all of them! Was really hoping J.J. would pull a Star Trek reboot on us. Really not much about the Prequels I like.

 

...he was a decade younger than Luke Skywalker in TPM .

 

1. More lines from Darth Maul.
2. No "force bacteria".
3. No Jar Jar.
4. Less CGI and more practical effects.
5. Less rigid acting from Christensen and Portman.
6. Anakin's miraculous birth.
7. Make Luke and Leia's birth more poignant. I understand that Padme was on her deathbed and that they had to hurry to hide the children. I just would have liked to have seen Padme dote over her newborns a little more.

For the record, I do not hate the prequels but was disappointed with some aspects of them. Having said that there was some good with the bad and I can enjoy watching them.

 

She DID cry when they were being born ...

 

She did. And I think she actually did that scene pretty well. It just felt a little too rushed. Especially compared to the length of the final dual.

I don't doubt that. I wouldn't have minded a longer movie actually. In both cases.

 

Yeah especially "the end of the saga"

 

Definitely. I still thought it was pretty good though. The best of the trilogy in my imo.
