    The main cast of The Acolyte was just announced as shooting is now underway... let's take a look and allow our imaginations to run wild!

    Reminder this is a speculation thread, not a spoiler thread. Spoiler tags still need to be utilized for any information that has not been officially released.

    Very little is known about anyone other than Stenberg being cast as the lead character. More additions will surely be announced along the way and we will try to keep this post updated.

    I started to make a Good / Bad list until I realized that this may be dominated by the "baddies" .... though I suppose it's all relative and even if this is primarily about a sect of dark side users, there have to be both protagonists and antagonists. Anyways.

    Stenberg, Jung-Jae, Barnett, Chapman

    Antag:
    Jacinto, Keen, Turner-Smith, Henderson, Moss

    And lots of grayscales, with peoples being good for bad reasons and bad for good reasons, and things like that, as they dig themselves deeper into darksideness and plot to foil the Jedi... all the while, proto-Palpy cackles in the shadows. Yup, that'll do me nicely, thank you :D

    I am personally hoping the same as @NinjaRen, I'd really love to see her play that type of role. But she would certainly make a great Jedi Master as well!

    I guess the real question here is, will it be the Red pill Saber or the Blue??

    I really wonder who will be Carrie Anne Moss playing!
    Everyone is focused on her, because she made herself one of sci-fi icons through Matrix and expect her to play a huge and main role in this.

    But I am open to some casting plot twists. We have 9 characters and she is listed at the back, so I can definitely think that her role won't be a small one, but meaningful one and I suspect it to be more of a side role, like Luthen Rael for example.
    Also, I would love some aliens and prosthetics. If you can have an Oscar actress to play Maz Kanata (and Daniel Craig to play stormtrooper and cut out Tom Hardy), anything is possible.
    Even tho in a small scale series, you can't afford to not use a big name like that, but still, I hope and predict that she won't be as huge as fans expect her to be, just because of her popularity.
    Star Wars usually focuses on less popular actors for main roles, the legacy characters and Adam Driver aside.

    My bet is on Republic senator or some seasoned character with mentor or leadership status.
