Ahsoka Reveals New Image; Rosario Dawson Calls Dave Filoni 'One of the Greatest I’ve Ever Worked With'

Total Film Magazine has revealed a new picture from the upcoming Ahsoka series featuring Rosario Dawson as the title character speaking with Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Hera Syndulla via hologram. In addition, the publication also sat down with Dawson, who praised her collaboration with Dave Filoni and shared hopes that he can tell more Ahsoka stories in the future.



When asked if she would like to explore more of the character in the future, the actress replied: 'I mean, I do, and I hope [Filoni] does.' She then added the following about Filoni:

Dawson then continued to praise her time working with the writer-director-producer and shared hopes that she can do it again soon:

Filoni has been behind the character since it was created for the Clone Wars animated movie, later steering her journey through seven seasons of The Clone Wars, a small arc in Star Wars: Rebels, and eventually bringing her to live-action with Rosario Dawson. There are already indications that there could be another season of the show if it does well on Disney Plus, and she will probably be part of the upcoming culmination theatrical event that Filoni will be directing, which is likely to land in theaters in 2026.



Ahsoka premieres on Disney Plus on August 23.
